24 hours to 18

hey i just started a new grow about 3 weeks ago and i noticed my timer turned off when it wasnt ment to, so iv just left it on 24/7. iv brought a new timer now and was just woudering if its still safe to switch to 18/6? or will that force them into flower?

You are good to go, no worries.
The way that works is...
When a cannabis plant is mature it starts producing a hormone that triggers flowering, but exposing it to enough light over a long enough photoperiod sort of 'burns' the hormone out of the plant which suppresses the flowering process.

Some common digital timers have an annoying 'random' mode, consult the owners manual on the malfunctioning timer to find out how to turn it off. I got clowned by random mode on my first digital timer.

You can have em at 18/6 and your ok.
