24 hr light for seedling good or harmful?

This being my first time grow I made a lot of noob mistakes which has set me back on time. I have one plant still a seedling. It's got 2 pair of real leaves and about 4inches tall. Is it okay for me to put it under two 40 watt CFL long bulbs 24hrs. I plan later to give it at least 1 or 2 hrs of darkness to let everything cool down and rest. I kinda need it to grow to the point where I can safely put it under my 600 HPS light.

I've read other post and threads on this topic but I don't know if they were talking about grown plants or little baby seedlings only 2 weeks old.

your sprout will do just fine with 24 hour light. gives it more time to grow. just give it atleast 2 weeks under those cfls before the 600 and even then put that 600 more up there then suposed to, to get those babys used to it. hope this helps a little :D
