24 hrs dark day before harvest?

Hi, first time..posted under newby also. Harvest is tomorrow, lights supposed to go on at 11 tonight...leave them off the day before? yes or no? thanks! they are bone dry also skipped last watering yesterday.

I've read that keeping them in the dark for 48 hours will put the bud-making-process into over drive as their last ditch effort to maintain -- and you'll get a lot of bud swellage. Something I will certainly be trying, what could it hurt?

This is another topic where smart people can argue for or against and sound very very convincing. Darkness before harvest can be up to a month in the extreme or as little as 24 hours. Bottom line....who the fuck knows? I've done it many ways and I can't tell the fucking difference but usually I can't tell you what year it is so how the fuck am I going to tell you what something from a month ago compared to something now when we're talking 1 or 2%? So my advice to you is do what ever is the most convenient for you and then believe who's ever opinion happens to match that. Works awesome for me.

Yes. I let mine stay dark at least 24 hours, ideally more like 48 - 72 hours. I am cutting one down today that has been in there 36 hours at this point. It will get 40 - 50 hours by the time I cut it.
