24carat vs qb 150w

well i want to see what all the hype is about so i picked up a couple diff styles of q boards to test how well they will do growing an auto.
qboard sounded better to me in the mom tent than the old leds i had in there. it was just for keeping moms alive for cuts and trade with friends so it didnt really matter what lights were in there as long as they did a half decent job keeping plants alive. when theres an auto in there id put a cob on top of it and let it do its thing beside the moms. in the summer when its hot id cut the moms down and take cuts then replace the big moms with small cuts and run 2 3ft t5ho led conversion to keep them alive through the hot months then in sept switch back to stronger light grow moms up take cuts and start up the flower room. thats when i start putting an auto or 2 in there depending on space and at least get something outta the power im using in that tent. it works for me and its a nice little 'side project'

they were on sale for a price i couldnt refuse
mf1500 uses lm301b diodes and sosen driver. 150w
pb 1000 uses lm281b+ diodes sosen driver.
pb is over moms so i dont really care if its the best of the best.
the lights run cool and im super happy with.them so.far (not a plug for maxsisun just general observance and info on the lights im using)

shes been borned!

she was planted in a rapid rooter and left in the clone dome for a day to pop up then planted in a 4gal pot with promix bx little bit of glacial rock dust and a 1/4 recommended dose of bokashi pro grow mixed into the medium
she'll be covered up for.the next couple.days while the beginning stage of life is happening to make sure shes stays moist and keep humidity up. watered with straight ro water for first wetting.
shes just starting to turn her head up to the light

ya i know boring stuff right now.

once a couple more leaves pop im sure i can crank her up

Crank it up player, how about a status update? How are you liking those lights, how close do you keep them to plants? I have a bloomspect that I believe matches the specs of your pb1000

lol. ya been pretty busy with trimming and getting the garden ready outside. ill update later or tmrw when i get a chance.
the auto is under the mf1500 moms under pb1000
so far im liking the lights they are doing their thing. we will see in flower how the buds fill out.
im also gona try to run a summer tent with 2x mf1500 and 1x viparspectra xs 1000

Lights a good 20" away anything closer and she wilts. So far I'm very happy with these lights they are doing a great job.
