24hr to 18hr light question

Would changing the veg lighting from 24 hours the past 3 weeks to 18/6 for the remainder of the growth cause any abnormalities? Thanks!

Thats what I am doing, and from what I understand that is a good thing. I am going to 18/6 because like the final days of summer, entering fall- the days get shorter. I am thinking I may even go to 16/8 and 14/10 eventually before the 36 hour darkness before 12/12- but thats just my grow and their all different. And more than likely i will get impatient after 16/8- and from what I have read plants can flower when there is less than 14 hours of light and can even begin to flower at 14 hours of light, so its probably best just to go from 18, ahh who knows to each his own...
