HELLO!
This is going to be my second grow (my first is at day 21F) but my first hydroponic grow. I am a CA Prop 215 Patient and this is a legal grow. However, my girlfriend and I would much prefer that the cabinet be as stealthy as possible just for security and other reasons.
The cabinet is from the IKEA as is section and I picked up 2 cabinets: one 2' x 2' and one 1' x 2'; both are about 2.5' tall. These cabinets were meant to be as kitchen wall mount cabinets. I bought some cheap panel board to create a back for the cab. I then bought some MDF board and cut out some doors and attached them with some hidden euro hinges. I was going to paint the doors white to match but I really like the natural brown color. I like how it contrasts the white top. As for the top, I cut a piece of melamine and nailed it down to the cabs to essentially make the three pieces (2 cabs and 1 top piece) into one piece. I finally added some PVC caps as ghetto furniture legs to keep the cabinet off the ground. It easily supports our 30 gallon aquarium.

notes I am currently only running 8x23W CFL's while my girls are young and small

lights currently only 2 sockets with 1x23W (5000K) and 1x13W (2700K)
ventilation 1 PC exhaust fan
notes Currently, the veg cab only holds my mini DWC cloner. I plan on eventually making another fixture that will hold 6x23W CFL (138W) for maintaining my mother plants. The clones are currently sitting on a plywood shelf that I cut. This can be easily removed for when I need to keep my mother plants in there.

The cab is pretty much good to go except for I need to get a carbon filter eventually and I do have a light leak along the hinge side of the door. Other than that, I'm proud! I cut out a piece of MDF board and I attached the power strip and all electronics to it. That panel is then hung from the back of the cab to keep it off the ground in case of any flood or my damn cat. It seems to be working well so far! Temps are consistently less than 10 degrees F above ambient. Recently it's been running about 78F and ambient temps are 70F!
I purchased 2x Santa Cruz Girl Scout Cookies from a local dispensary. I let the guy know that I needed them in rockwool cubes but they ended up coming in solo cups I had to wash the soil off of the roots. This first clone seemed to handle it well! After showing some new growth and good root development, I topped her a few days ago and this picture is from the next day. Today, she is stronger than ever and is developing multiple tops!
Here is my veg cab holding my mini cloner for now. I took a clone of my LSD plant about 2 weeks ago but that hasn't rooted yet In the mean time, I have some basil, arugula, and aloe vera in the cloner. My girlfriend loves that I can clone her succulents haha.
On a tangent, I just picked up a bunch of seeds as well. However, I am moving sometime in July and didn't want to get too invested. I germinated 1x AK47xChocolate Rain reg and 1x Cherry Pie Kush fem. I planted both in rockwool cubes and the AK47xCR sprouted in a few days however my Cherry Pie Kush still hasn't Since I have room in the flower cab and my GSC plants are still vegging I decided to plant my AK47xCR in a hempy bucket and let her do her thing. Eventually, I'll have to move her and her hempy bucket into the veg cab until I take a clone and she will hopefully be female!
In all, I'm extremely excited for this grow! Feel free to check out my other grow (it is on ICMAG though so sorry if this is against the rules! I definitely find myself here on RIU more so I decided to put my second grow here.)
Here is one last picture of the cab in our apartment. To the left is a book case with a stealthy cabinet for my kitty's litter box! The brown box to the left is my treasure chest converted to a CFL cab that is currently flowering my LSD plant. Underneath it is a small cab/box that holds my 4" inline fan which definitely makes the sound much more bearable.
