27/f here and i just can figure out why my buds are not producing crystals

hey all been growing now for about a year now and have yet to get a good harvest. This last time i thought i was doing every thing right but once i took my plants from the veg room and put them into the flower room and started the flowering process i noticed about a month in that my plants didnt smell and were not producing the crystals of tch on them im talking no frost at all and very little smell. Im growing white widow so i now it should smell alot stronger. So i continued to go foward and at the end of the flowering cycle i used just water on them for 13 days to make sure all the chemicals were out. But once i dried them out they still had not frost nor smell and when smoked it didnt get you high and it taste like grass. Im very new at this and would really appreciate the help i can get pics up of everything i have if that helps please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, more info. What set-up are you running, how long do you let them flower for? How & for how long did you cure your bud? Where did you get your Widow from - Seedbank/clone/bag seed?

Are you sure you are not harvesting the plants premature? - you'll see buds way before the trichomes (crystals) are forming. First you'll see very small pearls that will later rise on stalks. First these will be transparent, but when getting ready to harvest they will become milky white.
If you are sure it's white widow something is definitely wrong because it produces a lot of trichomes. (even more trichomes than my favorite Jack Herer - jack's trichomes are just more potent ;O))

i am running florescent lights (soft, cool and plant) in my veg. room and a 400 watt hps and use foxfarm organic fertilizer. I run my veg room 18/6 and my my flower room 12/12 and i use expert grow soil and i think i got the seeds from bcbuds i have pics if that will help just tell me how to send them
