Here we go. Round three. I'll have three girls FOR SURE this time around. Haha.

1X White Widow
1X CA HashPlant
1X Good Bagseed

I have 296 actual watts of CFL. Both spectrums mixed.

Soil is MG Organic Choice with 40% Perlite. Ph of 6.7

No nutrients are being used this early but I have some GL Super Bloom 12-55-6 and some Schultz 2-7-7 to use later on.

Today, August 4th 2009, is Day 14 for the bagseed. No sprouts from the WW or HP - they were germinated and planted yesterday.

All the light has been stressing this little girl out. I now only have the side lights and (2) of the 27w daylights on and I lifted the reflector to about 6" above the top of the plant. Hopefully she takes off soon!

All else is good!

Hmmm I dunno about that got pics. I've grown with cfls a couple times and now moved up to hid never had a plant get stunted from too much light with cfls. Soil might be too hot for the seedling (or have to much nutrients mg is known for that) What are you giving the seedling how is your water ph? Sorry for the questions just haven't seen a stressed seedling from cfl lights yet. I had just as many if not more lights in my cab for three plants with no problem.

It is 16 days old today from seed (when it broke ground.)

Still nothing form the WW or HP seeds yet.

I water it w/ 6oz of Ph 6.7 water, no nutrients yet. I only water when my moisture meter reads in the red. Soil is also right at about Ph 7.

Shit! Look at what it says on the MG site... "Where NOT to use: In pots." EDIT: I'm an idiot. Went to garden soil not potting mix.

I hope I don't ruin these plants... that would be a waste of time and money...

MG OC Potting Mix

How to Use

Add to the bottom of a pot with drainage holes. If re-potting, use a container that is one size larger than the old one. Insert the plant stem or root ball into the pot and fill with more Potting Mix, pressing soil down lightly. Water thoroughly and allow to drain. Do not let pot sit in drainage water.
When to Apply

Use when potting or repotting indoor or outdoor plants in containers.
Where to Use

Best for growing potted or container plants and vegetables. Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Potting Mix contains a special blend of all-natural ingredients designed to help container plants and vegetables thrive.
Where Not to Use

In-ground plants, vegetables and flowers.
Benefits

Contains a blend of all-natural, organic ingredients: sphagnum peat moss and composted bark fines Natural fertilizers provide both quick- and slow-release feeding to get plants off to a fast start and keep them growing Delivers twice the growth of ordinary potting soil naturally
Fertilizer Analysis

0.10 - 0.05 - 0.05

Ya man thats what I was saying about your soil being too hot. Get 'em out of that soil and into something with no additives to it.

Hmmmm you got a lowes around bro? I normally use Roots Organics every grow but this time I kinda ran out of money when I bought the grow tent, so I had to comprimise and get this stuff called Jungle Growth from lowes. Huge bag for only 12.00 bucks. It states it will not burn seedlings or cuttings/clones, the nutrients added I think are like .50-.25-.20 not much but it also claims to feed plants for up to four months. I don't like that but hey I don't have much of a choice. My little lady is doing fairly well in it although she is coming out of an overwatering spell. I got mixed up on watering a couple times lol. Seems to be pretty decent stuff I haven't seen any burning yet.

This MG soil has less nutrient concentration than that even...right? 0.10 - 0.05 - 0.05

I am thinking mine was just over watered... the moisture meter has been peaking out, I just now looked at it close enough to see it has a "Green" zone on the gauge. It is at the very beginning of the ''green'' from being too moist.

Ok well in the last pics they looked fine so just keep an eye on them. Overwatering is pretty easy to do in bigger pots especially in this stage when the plants roots arent fully developed and only at the top most portion of the pot. Most of the wet soil is at the bottom of the planter/pot and doesn't get used when in a too big of a container. By letting the soil dry out real good it forces the roots to dig downwards to find water, ease back on the water and they will bounce back. I was told when I feel the need to water wait another two or three days. Thats my problem atleast, I thought I was grabbing 5 1gl grow bags at the hydro store but instead I grabbed 5 3gl gro bags. :( oh well I'll just to hold back on the watering then. How long you planning on veggin these ladies and where do you plan on flowering them? I hope not all in that small cab you'll run out of room faster than you think if you leave them untrianed.

I am going to move the bagseed outdoors after about a month total veggin'. I don'[t want to risk it being a male next to my two femmed girls. So I'll be LSTing the two Fem. (WW and HP) in the cab. At least that is the plan. If I run out of room I have two spare bedrooms with nice closets :)

No problem bro. I wanna see what this CA hashplant is all about see if Dinafem is worth the money. I dunno I been doing some research on my next strain to buy hahaha. So many choices so little money hehehe. The top five have to be Barney's Farm LSD, Sweet Seeds Sweet Afgani Delicous S1 or aka S.A.D., Sweet Seeds Jack 47, Reserva Privada OG Kush, and finally from Delicious Seeds Critical Sensi Star. Hopefully soon I can add all of these to my line up of seeds. I still have some Green House Arjans Haze #1 and some T H Seeds Burmese Kush.
