2nd grow! Bigger and better...

Hello,

This is our second grow. Our first grow was in a PC grow box. We got about 35 grams from one plant. Great for establishing some experience, but not enough for smokers like us to see the benefit.
Sooo…..We got a bigger box.
Set up:
The box is meant to use for storage; plastic and cheap (30€). We used HVAC tape and metallic wallpaper stuff used to imitate metal. It cost about 20€ to cover the growing area. There is an adjustable shelf so we secured four light fixtures at each corner and one adjustable light in the middle to avoid stretching in the beginning. Once we changed to the bigger pot we of course raised the light to compensate. In my opinion, great find on my husband part with this box! There is a small cubby at the top were all the wiring can go too.
The fan in the top is used to circulate fresh air. And we are in the process of replacing the huge fan inside with another one similar to the top fan, but, as an exhaust and located in the growing area.
Using CFL lights
Soil medium
Stress:
We use LST on the right plant and LST + Fim on the left plant. The one fimmed and LST was looking pretty bad, but, seemed to bounce back with some calcium and more air flow.
We are trying to let the smaller one catch up a little before we start flowering.

QUESTION:
My husband insists we use this liquid miracle grow crap. Personally, I feel it is a bad idea, and unnecessary. We should have the right mix of nuts without using that from the phosphorus plus and bloom mix. I also make a calcium supplement from egg shells. What are your thoughts

Calcium is only one nutrient your plants need. Magnesium, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, are also needed as your plants grow. There's so many "starter kits" out there that give you all the organic nutrients you need from seedling to bloom without all the guess work....and can be had for about $45.

The first bottle of nuts, as seen in the pic, is also mixed into the feeding. This was recommended by the local head shop guy. We used this to help give more nitrogen and magnesium. Forgot to mention that. So do we need the maricle grow stuff.... or..

Being in europe, and not speaking Italian, makes it more difficult to find the nuts we need. I am not always confident the guy at the head shop knows what he is talking about lol
