2nd grow cfl 5 weeks into flower lotsa pics!

Sup guys -

My second grow consists of 1 dinafem white widow, 1 paradise delahaze, and 2 nirvana northern lights #5 in 5 gallon smartpots using fox farms soil and nutes. They are under 14 23w cfls - 12 2700k and 2 5700k for 12/12 flowering. They get watering/feed around every three or 4 days, and usually end up using about a gallon or so of r/0 water for each plant. They are 5 weeks into flower and I am starting to see alotta of brown hairs...should I start the nute flush? I may just be getting anxious to smoke some of these ladies, but to me they seem like they are nearing harvest time....maybe another 2-3 weeks I'm guessing. Any thoughts about this or comments about my grow?

I would say to go not by the hairs, but the trichs. To me it looks like they have a minimum of the 3 weeks left. Once the hairs retreat into the bud, you can start checking them.. Otherwise check the color of the trichs under a microscope to see what your percentage of clear/cloudy/amber is.

Want better high, harvest earlier with clear/cloudy. More pain relief, later when the trichs are amber.

Hi bluejunta, those plants look awesome. I've just started to flower under 13 23 watt cfls and 4 5000k cool white 58 watt tubes. If my girl turns out any way as good looking as yours I'll be very happy. I agree with fortheloveofgreen, at least 3 weeks left. Checking the trichs is the way to go. Any chance you can post pics of your light set up, I'd love to see it. Enjoy those girls they look delicious.

Looks good, I think you enjoy the finished product more when it's a "McGyver" grow. Good luck with it.

i have a similar set up wit my cfls.. but i used a storage lid .. ill post sum pics
