Bigger the roots, bigger the fruits.Yep, I’ve gone with 2 15 gallon bags…I like having a backup girl and recon it’s gotta yield more!View attachment 5217312
Double the bags, double the buds! It was a tough choice but I had all I needed for a second 15 gallon grow so just went with that.Bigger the roots, bigger the fruits.
For sure. I get it. You use what you got.Double the bags, double the buds! It was a tough choice but I had all I needed for a second 15 gallon grow so just went with that.
Next year I will do different strains…if I can get, I’d like GG#4, WonderWoman and White widow. But for this season I ended up doing 3 GG#4 in 15 gallon bags and each are on a plant caddy so I can move them around to chase the sun.Always more than 1 plant at a time outdoors for me.
First off I like multiple strains each year. Smoking the same bud all the time and never having a change would get old fast imo. But there is also the inner concern for the need for a backup plant just in case something catastrophic happens to one of them.
You schooled me! Only difference is mine are in the pots. They are such a help when it comes to training.
Thanks Buck…I’ve supercropped the tallest girl as a test for results and a learning experience. It scared the shit out of me, the first branch I did split a bit so I taped it up and tied it in place from above and below. The other 3 branches bent well and I have them supported (see pic).Supercropping is a great way to control height .It seems awful in theory but it works really well and doesn't hurt the plant ,rolling branches between your fingers until pliable and bending that branch over to a horizontal position.Start now and make them wide instead of tall .Be sure to put tie downs because they pop back up in one day.GL
They heal right up.I really had to pinch and bend this WW almost every day to keep it under 7 ft.Thanks Buck…I’ve supercropped the tallest girl as a test for results and a learning experience. monstercropping is good too, my 14 inch plant is over 2 ft wide.Supercropping is a great way to control height .It seems awful in theory but it works really well and doesn't hurt the plant ,rolling branches between your fingers until pliable and bending that branch over to a horizontal position.Start now and make them wide instead of tall .Be sure to put tie downs because they pop back up in one day.GL
WTF is monstercropping? Sounds brutal.monstercropping is good too, my 14 inch plant is over 2 ft wide.
Taking clones from flowering plants.Takes a long time to revegetate and makes a wild bush.Stardog has lots of examples in his journals.WTF is monstercropping? Sounds brutal.
Ok…not so brutal but not for me and my limited space. So far I’ve topped, FIMed, LST and supercropped, I recon that’ll do me, being a first grow. Thanks for all your help!Taking clones from flowering plants.Takes a long time to revegetate and makes a wild bush.Stardog has lots of examples in his journals.
