Germinated on 4-1. Not sure if I'll cull these down to two plants or go with all four. I'll make the decision moving forward. Going to fast track these again 90 or 100 days hopefully. The last two Quikz were absolute fire so figured I'll run them again even though they dropped a bit of pollen. I guess thats what you get sometimes with F1s. The male parts were definitely manageable.

Old school ebb and flow with 4" rockwool cubes.
Dyna-Gro Nutes with tap water (so far just a splash of grow).

28 days from germination. Overwatered (damn rockwool), topped and not very happy. Thats ok they'll start getting happy in coming days. Thats about it for now. Pretty boring/ugly post.

Nutes: Dyna-Gro (Pro-Tekt, Grow, and Mag-Pro) 1/3 strength w/ tap water.
200 watts of LED at 50% around 12 inches.

One week later and still overwatered. These Quikz don't like wet feet. I'm flooding once a day and thats the least I can do with my mechanical timer. Been working some late days so manual watering schedule was not an option. Other than that they doing ok and will be just fine in coming days. So it goes. I'll probably flip them in a day or two regardless.

Documenting flip day. I'm going to finish all four plants and figure I'm best to keep them on the small side. Thats all for today.

Just about 1 week from flip and everythings taking shape nicely. Going to finish all 4 plants as they are all looking quite healthy and I should have plenty of room. should end up filling the 2x2 space perfectly. Canopy looks like its going to be relatively even. All good.

Dyna-Gro (Pro-tekt, Grow, Bloom, and Mag-Pro) 1/3 recomended strength.

A quick update. Been struggling the whole time to keep these plants happy. Droopy and just kind of blah. Increased the air flow and brought down the brightness some and they're looking a little better. They're still stretching and slowly changing to full bloom. probably another 5 or so days.

Droopy and unhappy just a couple of days ago.

May 29: End of week 3 from flip
This hasn't been the smoothest run for me but things are still progressing ok. Bouts with overwatering and some drooping leaves have been a bit of a struggle but I still think everything will end up fine. A couple of cold spring nights with no heat on inside and the plants have started with fall colors.

Temps: 77F days with temps dropping to mid 60s a few nights.
PPFD: 780ish
EC: 1.0
RH 45-55
PH around 5.6

Coming to the end of week 5. Thoughts: Not my best grow. Never really got this one running on all cylinders and not sure why. All said though its going relatively well with no major issues. If anything maybe a bit behind schedule. Another small complaint is out of the four plants I'm not really seeing a killer in the bunch. They look good and smell good but nothing really standing out. I guess thats the roll of the dice when growing from seed. Still though it should be some pretty good weed.

Nothing in this tent is blowing me away. I have one that dropped a little pollen and three more that are just OK. Every grow we strive to get one thats fire and thats not looking like is gonna happen on this grow. On top of it this is looking like its going to go a bit longer than originally planned. So here we are coming to the end of week 6 and a few pistils are starting to turn. Plants are stacking on a bit of weight but nothing mind blowing. Looking to get through the next few weeks and start fresh. Its not been a bad grow really, but its not been my favorite by a long shot. Maybe I'll be pleasently surprised in the coming weeks. We shall see.

Heading into week 8 from flip. Winding down and just waiting for the right time to chop. We'll see how it pans out. Nothing crazy but should get some decent bud. Don't mind that crispy plant on the back left. She never seemed to be hhealthy from the start clawing the entire time. The buds however are the frostiest of the bunch.

Unfortunately chop day is going to come a bit too early (tomorrow) on this run. I've got a trip planned in early August and if I want to get a new run started and far enough along by then so these have to go. So it goes. These should be done enough though to be decent bud in the end. My seeds for the next batch have already popped and will be needing the light/space within a couple of days.

Any-who..... Heres what we had. The plants are exactly 91 days from seed.
Classic ebb and flow with rockwool on a small 2x2 tent with 200 watts of Bestva Pro Series LEDs. I really love these lights. Also Dyna-Gro nutes ( pro-Tekt, Grow, Bloom, and Mag-Pro)

Perameters for the last week have been...

EC: 1
PH: 5.6
RH: 50ish
Temp: 78F
PPFD: 780

And a couple of pics before chop.
