2x4 or a 3x3

Hey everyone! Im stuck between figuring out if I would like a 2x4 or a 3x3 better. Both the 2x4 (Spider-Farmer) and the 3x3(Mars Hydro) would fit into my space perfectly.

What one would you pick?

It's pretty much preference and what light you decide to use. A 3x3 is only one more sq.ft. of coverage but you might need just a little more light for enough or even grow coverage.

My mars hydro tent is pretty sweet. Super tight seal. Easily put together.

I prefer square over rectangle.

Really depends on what your trying to do op. 1 good size plant under a 315lec. Then the 3x3 tent. If you want to have 2 average size plants under 2 large leds or 2- 400w hps then a 2x4 tent is better. I like a 2x4 setup w/2 lights. You can have one plant late in flower and one begging flowering if you can setup a small clone area. Even a good size tote can be setup for clones and some small veg.

More space is better. go with the 3x3 and get something better than a Mars anything if you can afford it

The 3x3' has an extra square foot, is an extra foot deep, and is square, so you'll get more even light distribution.

Take it from someone who uses two 2x4x5' tents. I bought them as my first tents I owned eight years ago, and only reason I went 2x4 as opposed to 3x3 was I was limited in the closet I had them in for width. If I went 3x3, I would have only had one foot of space to operate in front of them. (I now use them both for veg only, and flower in two 4x4').

Given the space, I'd go 3x3' over a 2x4' every time.

I'm talking depth, sorry guys.
Also I don't know how op grows. I liked to grow many small plants, it's easier to reach into 2 feet of foliage, than it is 3 feet.
I also use strip build LEDs, not much head room needed for lights.

I guess most people don't grow smaller plants:P

The extra height is pretty convenient honestly
