3 60 watt led full spectrum enough?

It's a light that covers a full spectrum of electromagnetic wavelengths.from infrared to ultra violet. Pretty much that means all wavelengths a plant needs for growth. I'm just wondering is 180 watts sufficient for one lowryder keep in mind it grows to a maximum of about 20 inches

Cobby is right, its a marketing term. But regardless, if those are 60 real watts a piece then yeah should be enough to grow a plant.
Do you have a link to the lights or a brand name or something?

I just went to ace hardware and this guy also told me that it is the watts used to power it NOT how many watts you are getting you must be looking at the wrong bulb because two people from stores have told me the same thing these are them

The power it consumes IS the actual wattage. Your 27W will work, but you would benefit from more. The general rule (I go by) is around 50W (actual)/plant, but that will differ depending on your grow style.

I just talked to a guy at ace hardware and he told me the same thing the guy at home depot said the 9 watts is the power it consumes not actual wattage
The guy at the hardware store need to find a new job.

There is only the watts it uses, there is no other watts to consider. Its output, been a household bulb would be measured in lumens.
They did the same thing when Energy saving cfls came out, they compare its output in lumens to what an old style incandescent bulb would of needed to produce those lumens. So what you have is a 9w bulb that produces the same amount of light as a 60w incandescent bulb.

But none of that is relevant to growing weed.

With super efficient LEDs you want 30w of actual power draw per square foot of space.
With none efficient LEDs you want around 50w.
I imagine that those bulbs fall somewhere in between that area, leaning toward the inefficient.
So either way 3 x 9w bulbs are not going to be enough to grow a plant in flower. But you might get away with say 5 of them if the plant takes up a square foot or less, which is possible.

Only true full spectrum... is the sun.
Those feint bulbsare for simple table / desktop plants ... even phillips has a PLANT BULB ( looks like a light bulb ) but that feint electric led it's touting reds / blues ( typical blurple ) . If you are looking for something similar just buy a $60 panel or something similar... it WILL grow you a plant BUT only to get your feet wet.

If you decide to making growing on the regular then your initial investment ( blurple ) is SMALL.
Then you can move up to bigger better lights :
T5 / Hps / Cobs / Cmh / Quantum / Strips. Etc.

We all cut our teeth with some shit lights before moving on to better things. Hell i started as a CFL guy ... lol . But i made that shit give me some fire weed.

Im trying to figure out who youre going to listen too. The guys at the hardware store, whom don't grow weed. Or the people on a forum dedicated to growing weed. Go ahead and listen to the people at the hardware store and use them to grow. Post back after your harvest so we can see how much you didn't grow. No offense but if you're not going to take the advice you're given, then why post at all.
