well i had some plants growing on a 24 hour light cycle for 30days before they got to big for my grow cab..... so i took a bunch of clones... i have one clone that has 3 branches coming from each node all the way from the bottom branch to the tip of the plant... and another one that is growing 4 per node... its crazy... i have read somewhere that it is a recessive gene and if breeded would prob not be there anymore.. but what if i turn the plant that has 4 per node and turn that hermi so i can get some pollen from it and then i turn the plant with 3 nodes on it into a feminized seed producer... do u think that it would be a more dominate gene or what.. ill put pics up later

i'm fucking lost on that one man... i know this is the advanced forum, but i think i need to get a masters in botany befor i understand that question... good luck getting some answers... seiously... lots of luck to you...

My genetics knowledge is limited but it would surely be worth a try!

You might have to germinate a LOT of the seeds created before the trait shows up again though

Imagine if you did this for a few generations and were able to stabilize the phenomenon, extra bud per plant!!!

I've seen another unusual trait similar to this, small buds started growing on the fan leaves (at the point where they leaf blades fan out!) it didn't produce much extra overall and despite trying a similar idea to you my mate was unable to establish it permanently (i think he used Gibberellic acid to stimulate A-sexual seed production on just a couple of the plants branches - which meant he was able to harvest the rest of the plant unseeded! that takes a lot of effort though)

What you have is a pretty common cannabis mutation, very similar to a whorled phylotaxy or sometimes called 'twinning'.

You might be able to isolate the trait, but it's going to take a WHILE, like 10 generations a while.

If you like it, then just keep cloning to keep it going. It's going to be damn near impossible to recreate it, but now that you have it you can certainly upkeep/maintain it if you like.

yea i would say try it and see if the seeds are stable. who knows you might just pull it off. in theory it would work seeing as both seem to have the trait but een then it may only be triggered by stress such as cloning
