This is going to be my first try at growing. I've been doing research, but i want to know what equipment i need to grow 3 plants well. Nothing too flashy and fancy. Something simple that will get the job done. Thanks.

I you want to go for something simple i would look into cfls

3 plants.... get a tent, a light, buckets, soil, nutes, fan, filter and your good!

400 watt digilux
4x2x5 tent
250 cfm fan

Would it be inefficient to use Cf'ls on this grow? because there is more than one plant. Just for my own curiosity.

Comes down to cost really HID is $200+ and CFLs are cheap. You get what you pay for...
