it's my first grow and i just transplanted my lil lady to a 3 qt home for the rest of her precious life =)

i'm a little anxious and stressed out like an over-eager parent now though because i'm not sure what quantity of water i'm going to need to use when watering days come up...

it was really simple when she was in her little container before because of the small size, but now with all the extra soil i'm feeling bewildered as to how much water i'm going to need when she needs water.

can someone give me a quantity reference from there more experienced grows?

thanks,
walt

Water when the soil is dry about an inch deep. Water enough until you see a bit of run off coming from under the pot.

^^^What he said!! Water until you get run off from the drain holes. Feel the weight of the pot. Then, let it dry out before you water again. and feel the weight of the pot empty. That's how you determine how and when to water. Always water until you get run off, then let them dry out before you water again.

I am still a noob myself but I Dont think anyone can actually give you a specific amount to water your plants.
They may be able to give you a ballpark range but every soil medium is different, one may have more perlite and have better drainage than the other so it is something you need to try out your self and see how much it will take to get water to run out of the bottom and go from there.
As for a 3 Qt pot depending on how big or how long your wanting to grow just make sure they dont get root bound.
Good luck on your grow.....

so for 3qt's i'm gonna be using like 1/2 gallon at a time or something like that arn't i?
You're gonna use how ever much it takes to get run-off. This isn't a "cake recipe". TwoToke is right on the money!!! You have to get out of that mind set.
