3-way cfl?

i went out and grabbed a 3 way cfl bulb, because it was bigger then the 26 watt..but now i dont know if it was the better choice,so it reads 12/23/32 watts..how would i know how many watts i am pushin with it..if im even pushin 32..u know..also i think its at 2700 k on the spec..is this the right bulb for vegging?or should i reenvest in a different bulb..if so which ones should i grab?

what you have purchased is a CFL that is used in a 3way light/lamp. these run at a low/medium/high normaly touch lamps too provide mood lighting.

you need 6500k for vegging
if theres a general hardware store in your area they might carry 45 watt 6500k cfls by the designers edge for about 10 bucks theyre 3200 lumens im using 4 of them

6400k-6500k is sometimes described as daylight bulbs=vegging
2700k-3000k is sometimes called soft white bulbs=flower
2300k-2400k is sometimes called warm white bulbs=flower
