3 weeks in flower, how are we looking?

Hi guys,

I wasn't going to post a thread like this, but thought it might be worthwhile to get some thoughts on progress thus far. Growing 3 cuts of the same unknown bagseed, 3 weeks into flower, in coco/perlite (fabric pots x2 regular plastic x1) under 600w hps. Following H3ad's Lucas for coco 6/9 ratio, about to hit 'em up with 6/12 booster feed sometime this week.

The mother plant is outside near end of bloom (not been tracking weeks, maybe 10), leaves are turning purple as are the calyxs. Will be interesting to see how it turns out. They barely stretched during transition too.

Doing well keep up the good work. Right now is when they really start eating those healthy plants will really take off.

As a comparison, this is the motherplant outdoors. You can see it's going rather purple. Guessing it's been flowering for 10 weeks. Will leave it a bit longer. Any idea what this thing might be? (I know it's a pretty wild/open question, but still).44.png

Awesome thanx for the feedback all. Have fed them a 6/12 feed, and looking good. Have been deciding on where to with my nutrients, and decided to stick with the GH mix I've now got more or less dialled in. I was going to swap to coco nutes (Nutrifield) but on working it out, it's not quite as economical, and like the control over feeding that I have with the Lucas mix. I'm hoping to give this 9-10 weeks, not sure how long it will take (any guesses?). Has already done heaps more than the mother plants did in its first month.

Theyre looking fucking tip top,but if I could grow like that outdoors I wouldnt be spending a fortune on electricity for an indoor grow!

As far as a strain? Not other then to say it's across with Sativa dominate traits......The purple being expressed by the plant looks more like K uptake then a major temp swing (looking again), K uptake and night temp swing is coming into play. As the temps get lower at night or the temp swing gets to be 15 or more degrees F. The purple will get more pronounced.
If your feeding a high P&K supplement to it,,,,,back off some and just use the bloom foods with SLIGHT additions of the PK sup at every other feeding (yellowing shows a overage of PK a bit to early - could be the soil's high in PK, That's kinda common for simply put in the ground plants).
As far as time line to finish. To hard to say with out closer pics of the buds.....4+ weeks and that's a guess......could be less......show us another shot of just a couple of the top buds.

Looks Nice though! AND, the indoors look FAB! keep them just as you are.

All that dead plant matter in the background would cause me to lose sleep.
Maybe in your area its not a big deal
but I would be afraid of mold where I live.

Cheers mate! Yeah, Sativa dom something or rather is about all I would say about it - but that's the joy of bag seed! Very interesting what you say about the colour. I had hit them up with a bit of a PK feed several weeks ago (had been using slow-release type material - guano and potash) and recently tried a synthetic booster. Have since stopped adding much for the past week or two. Temps have been swinging about 10-15C between daytime/night temps here, but haven't noticed the same effect on all plants. I'll likely cut them down sooner than 4 weeks (depending on weather), but we'll see.

Some of that are dead tomatos, the rest is pea straw mulch - but yeah, in the process of tidying up. But it isn't as bad as the pic makes it out. I keep the plants fairly clean (aside from debris that blows in). So far no issues with mold, and have been bud washing the other heads I've already chopped to great effect.

Thanx again for the feedback all :D

Things aren't going so well this week. The two plants in the fabric pots are showing significant leaf yellowing (hadn't checked them for a few days). Checked the run off and it's a bit high (2.1EC) so will try and get that down to the 1.4-1.6 range I've been keeping them at. Hopefully that will help - also perhaps wasn't liking the high K, causing lockout (run off pH was 5.8 though, it was around 6.5 during veg). The fabric pots dried out more likely raising concentration is my thoughts. We'll hopefully get them looking better during the week - I'll drop back to the 6/9 ratio, and keep using the micro until things are healthy again. Might also be seeing bananas too unfortunately. So it's a bit hit and miss. Oh well, let's get these done and move onto the next round of cuts (got something better to play with to come anyhow).
