3 weeks into flowering new growth has the claw

Hi guys I'm a new grower and having some problems with my girls my girls are in the 3rd week of flowering and my new growth looks like a claw or a rams horn my ppms are 800
Ph 5.8
Temp of room 78
Humidity 50 percent
I am using the c.a.p ebb and flow system with the 2.5 gallon buckets and using advanced nutrients this is a hydroponic system my medium is hydroton

Got a pic or pics?? Could be too close to lights, could be too much food, could be not enough food... A picture tells a thousand words

I have been using advanced nutes for around 5 years and I can tell you it's some good shit, you might have just started using bloom food too early into flowering

Try less nutes, perhaps 400 ppm instead of 800. Claw= nute burn

I can tell you from experience that 400 is waaaaaay tooo low, i'm not saying your wrong but I have fed around that rate before and had severe underfeeding symts

Claw can also be caused by heat, his room may be in the 70's but how hot is it under his light?

Check out my grow in the sig, I am doing pretty good under 400 ppm. Just add back daily to keep the numbers around 400. This is the levels that a drain to waste set up would be running.

hydro im guessing whats the EC? how often do u give them a new solution ?

Those are pretty good nutrients.

I would suggest trying out the 'General Organics' (aka General Hydroponics) 100% organic lineup. It's what I've been using here lately.. and I gotta admit, this stuff works great. I'm just glad I switched over to 100% organics man.. it makes such a huge difference.. and I mean HUGE difference. The final product tastes better, it smokes better, and it even smells better. Not only that.. but you don't have to flush (if you don't want to) - however, I still flush.. even with organics. As most of you all know, I live by the motto 'better safe than sorry'. I just don't like taking chances.. especially whenever it comes to the final few weeks before harvesting.

I don't want to take a chance on having a ruined harvest.. simply because I didn't flush the medium out, to get rid of any trace elements that might have gotten left behind inside the medium. Especially after having taken 60 to 70 days out of my life and time.. to take well care of my plants. I mean, you know.. we spend all this time and effort and love.. into caring for our ladies until harvest time.. so the last thing you would want to happen, is to have a ruined harvest because you didn't take the time to flush.

I mean, I know, I know.. many of you will say "using organics, no need to flush.. at all." - But again, 'better safe than sorry'... so I'd much rather take the time to flush out the medium during the last few weeks of flowering... rather than not flush at all.. and end up with an end product that doesn't burn like it should.. or taste/smell like it should.. because I didn't take the time to flush the medium out.

In other words, its just my personal preference to flush even when using all organics.

I read that when plants are pulling up water, or nutrient solution, that they are able to filter some elements and others just get absorbed as fast as your plant is drinking. When it's hot and dry, with powerful lights you plants will be sucking extra water.... and too much nutes along with it.

I would be surprised to see successful grows with hi ppm numbers and low humidy/hi temps. If your humidity is high, that changes everything.
