3 weeks of 12/12 no flowers!

Hello,

I have been growing makka seeds critical ganja for about 6-7 weeks now, and have been on 12/12 for two and have yet to see any pre-flowers or flowers. they are the feminized seeds, It has been a bit cold this winter and the veg was slower than i wanted but they are about 16-18" tall and seem healthy, any help would be appreciated.

Check for light leaks, give them another 2 weeks

Thanks, I have, even had my partner go in for 20 minutes and check, she said the same, cannot see hand in front of face. I will wait though, and hope they are female!

What I did was, went in the tent, had someone else run a flashlight along seams and such. Found no leaks.

Light leaks unless they're major won't prevent your plants from flowering. I'm guessing another couple weeks and you should see flowers. If not then you were duped and the seeds were male.

They're still just maturing, only my opinion. Once you get alternating branches is when you'll see your pre-flowers appear. Atleast with the majority of strains I've done.

Thanks, I checked again last night and the room is pitch black, I guess the plants are not ready to flower yet, or worse are male!!! Does anyone think the cold could be to blame, the room is always around 18-20 Celsius?

Its a little cold bud but should not prevent flowering bud main issue is going to be light leaks, maybe its a slow strain or a very long flowering 1

Hopefully you are correct, it is a 50/50 blend of indica and sativa, I am starting to think it may be just a slow long season! The literature stated it can get up to 100 cm indoors and 3 metres outdoors, so I am starting to think it may be more sativa dominance in the genetics. Thanks again all.
