300 plant newbie, need help planning my indoor garden

so we've got a 300 plant card and are new to growing we have a few going now we're planning on using as mothers that are doing great. I've got a fairly large area but they MUST be in tents. I've been reading about scrog grows with 1 plant/sq ft that pull aprox 2-2.5oz/sqft with a short veg time. does that sound right? so here's what i'm thinking..... 3 10x10 tents apporx 100 plants ea in 3 gal bags on a slightly slanted table to drain. is that good plan? would you do it differently? and how many lights/watts would I need per tent? I've got a ton of cords and 65w cfl's i can randomly hang around to enhance the lighting and would like to purchase as few new lights as possible thanks for any ideas/input

you should probaly go to a more pro thread. what would a newbie be able to tell you.??we on small grows.u jumpin out the gate on some pro shit. that'll b alot of work for a person not too experienced. Youtube Hygrohybrid. he'll tell you everything you need to know. take time to watch and search his vids.i learned more from him than any ten growers

dude your going to need some serious lights to grow 300 plants. each tent will need 3-4 1000watt and some serious work as the above stated.. not wanting to spend money to make money is not going to work, to have money tree's you need to start with planting money in your grow room if you start with shit you will end up with shit..

Ill be very interested to see how all this turns out, youre taking on a lot for not knowing anything

Do u really plan on running 300 plants in only 300sqft???
Maybe a SOG could work but like bass said ur gonna need a shitload of light to run that much and get a decent yeild.
The biggest wattage i know of are 1000w and they dont come cheap.
Why not start with a few hydro scrogs in each tent(fewer plants+less maitenence+DWCscrog=BIG SHIT POPPIN)

I don't think you have a clue how much money you are going to need to spend.
CFL's are not going to work in a grow that size, so just forget the CFL's.

A small 4'x4' tent to run 4 plants at a time just cost me about $2000 to get the set up for a buddy of mines grandma.
Thats for the tent, 1000w mh/hps ballasts and bulbs, 6" inline fan, 6" carbon filter, 4" inline fan for air intake, air cooled hood, super soil components, pots and seeds.

But it not just the equiptment thats going to cost you.
Have you put any thought into the electrical wiring in the house/garage/.... you are going to grow in?
Most houses are not wired up to run a 300 plant operation, And you will run a huge risk of electrical fire trying it.
Not to mention the electrical cost alone, lights, fans, air conditioners... all use a butt load of electric.

If you are dead set on this good for you but please figure out what its going to take to do it safely.

2x 1000w is minimum for a tent that size (I'd prefer 4x 600w)
100 plants in a 10x10... Overcrowded SOG will cause many problems for you such as:

Bottom buds wont be dense (popcorn)
Mold a big possibility (late in flowering)
Alot of watering/up-keep

Is the government funding your lighting and supplies or something? Lol. Never really looked into growers who are caregivers for medical patients, but I think 300 would be a considerable amount of patients to service.

If u have to ask about something like this you're probably not ready.

atleast 1 10,000 btu AC unit each = 900 dollars
4 1000 watt lights each = 3000 dollars
2 high cfm blowers each running through two cool tubes each = 1500 dollars
about 100 or more feet of ducting = ?
bunch of fans = 200 dollars
Materials to construct tents = ?

So just off the top of my head your looking at about .... 6000 just in shit i had prices for, so with matireals depends on how you make them you could do it for 7-8000 total for the grow area's construction, not including plants, pots, soil or hydroponic set ups, more electrical work, and installation... I would say if you budget at least 12,000 you will have a bitchen ass set up.

Pshaw! Anyone can do a solo 300 plant indoor grow. In 300 sq ft. How hard can it be?
