I posted a thread maybe 2 weeks ago about yellowing/burnt tips on the bottom older leaves. I was able to get that under control by pH'ing the water.

Now onto new problems. I don't know why, but my two plants seems to droop toward the end of the 18/6 light period. It's definitely not over or under watering. It seems to happen two hours before lights out, but it seems to perk back up the next day. Here's a pic of the drooping.

Is that normal?

On my 3.5 week old, the two small bottom leaves are yellowing. The rest of the plant seems unaffected. It's in fox farms ocean and i've been dosing with grow big...which seems to have boosted growth some.

Now onto my biggest problem. One of my plants had two of it's bigger leaves chewed. BAD KITTY! My fault though, i left the door open. (see below)

Should i just leave it alone and let nature do its' thing? Or would it be better if i trimmed the leaves or just cut it off completely?

I've been tracking growth. Can anyone tell me if they're doing okay, or are my cfl's not cutting it.

Feb 17: {1/4 strength grow big}-----Plant 1: 4.75"-----Plant 2: 3.5".....................(plant 1: 3.5 weeks old----plant 2: 2.5 weeks old)
Feb 21: {ph'd water only}------------Plant 1: 6.5"-------Plant 2: 5"
Feb 24: {half strength grow big}-----Plant 1: 7.5"-------Plant 2: 6.5"

Don't worry about the drooping late in the light cycle. It is perfectly normal. The plants get tired from stretching out all day.

Just trim the really chewed parts off the leaf and leave as much as you can.

Plants look great, reall nice green.

I have soil like that filthy. Figured the twigs and bark help oxygen and drainage. While keeping it completely natural, except the light of course :P

Thanks everyone. The temps under the lights are around the mid 70's. The plants are under 4 two foot t5's. There have been a couple times where the plant grew into the bulbs and the tips burnt a little, but no biggie. As for the twigs and stuff, the soil is fox farm ocean forrest mix. The stuff reminds me of mulch so maybe it's there for water retention? I dunno.

As for the 2nd picture with the small yellowing leaves...is that normal or does it mean it needs more nutes? Yellowing of the lower leaves means the plants feeding off them, right?
