4.6 Cubic Frigerator Grow

I couldn't help it; I had this small frigerator for about a year now and almost threw it away. This may have been posted before but Lets call it my contribution to the site. I made some pictures, my skills at picture taking with my cheap0 camera, but I am going to give it a shot.

sick, i wanna see what you do with this. does it work the refridgerator part work?
lol, dont put the pressure on me, Yo I am lible to grow mold indoors. Got me one of them temp/humidy gages to watch the micro enviroment. Yo I mean micro.. But if you guys are doing it I should be able too. I can grow anything outside, given the h.zone.

MaDE some progress; Managed to set up camera a bit better too.
Here some pictures, I need some butt plates with 4'' tube attached. May Have to MacGyver something together. Getting super Paranoid already and I don't have anything growing. Ugh.

Success! Scotty, Beam me up. For Real I feel like I'm Building a Time Machine or an Idol of sorts. Just what I always wanted. My own little box. I will name her Fox, and I will hug her and pet her and squeeze her and rub her and caress her and... rub her I will smoke her and her pretty lil buds.

Running 90% passive intake, 85cfm exhaust. 3 bulbs 5000k each. inside temps 83.5 on a quick test. All the wiring is done, every thing is almost ready except the filter.
My only hurdle I see coming is these 12v fans are supper quiet, but it doesn't have much static pulling as far as pulling thru a filter. I'm guessing of course. we'll just have to tweak it from here. I need to do a long test to see what the deal will be. In fact I'll get that started in a moment. I have a few more pictures in a bit.
0 my brother walked in on me today; while I was sweating over my Project. He kewl to a point.. but damnit I sure didn't even want him knowing. I may sell this box for $450 to friend. Or the cost I have in it, and Ill get some nuggets from time to time fore free? Yeah how often is time to time, when he ups and moves.. kinda blows.. well see.. let my paranoid clam down.

Test Running on temps, I hope this help someone; as this site helped me. Feel free to comment any tweaks I dont yet see comming.

with 4 lights running on top, 130w total, 27,27,27,47w=Insidetemps 93' Room temps 78-79'. I am not totaly sealed up in some cracks randomly around the frig. Nothing a bit of touch up wont handle. If winter ever comes it should be ok for sure, but I need to manage the temps a bit better. I am going to put the exhaust on top tomorrow and see if that helps any. Im montering the temps in that room to see what they are with out all the lights on. So much on sticking it out in the shed.

Zane,

I seen you have a outlet in you grow frig. To keep yourself alive I would invest in a "G.F.C.I" also know as "G.F.I" in the hardware store. Being that your going to get water close to if on on the outlet I would invest in one so that you don't kill you self.! A cheap one cost about 3 bucks! If you dont know what they are or look like a outlet with 2 buttons in the middle.

Aye I droped the ball on the outside outlet, but the one inside is not grounded. It should be, and I have to figgure out how to do it, I mean; I use lamp cord I had 50ft of, and it doesnt have a ground wire. ( May have to rewire that at some point)
Now the out side outlet where the main power come into on the back of the frig is grounded. I need to do a test, but I dont have any meters, I bought two ($12.99) and both of them didnt werk. I blew my mind I was thinking I didnt know how to use them, it boiled down to the fact I did wasnt to spend 25 bucks on a meter when the first to cheap0's didnt werk. I was hoping maybe I would be able to borrow one but it hasnt happened. I get one that works in a couple days. Yeah I had already saw that error, said to myself becarful with the water. Luckly the inside surround is non conductive. Even the wire box inside is pvp made housing.

While I am replying I am running my second test: Temps starting room temps were 77.5'f and 3 hours into turning it on; the temps are 84'f inside. 10sq Inch passive opening. Exhaust opening is: 19.625 sq inches, 12v/ 85cfm pulling. Non filter.

Useing 3 bulbs total of 101 watts. I am hovering around 88 and 88.4'f. Increasing the passive opening doesnt make a difference in temps just more frequenticy of the dip between 88 - 88.4. In other words, the range stays the same just moves around more often. Gaining 4'f per bulb. I going to plug in a fourth another 47w; that will bring it up the total watts up to 148-150. I want to be able to run atleast 5 bulbs. Curious to see if the math hold on 4'f per bulb; now having 4 bulbs. will it go up to 92'f? Lets back track a little. 2, 27 watts was running 84'f. 3 bulbs 2, 27w and 1, 47w running 88'f. 4 bulbs 2, 27w and 2, 47w= ? well see.
O btw I have one of the 300w using 70w bigun, standard size socket. I will try it it alone to see the temps range.

Is the outlet box made of metal? If so you can run a copper wire from the outlet ground screw to the box it's self. They make grounding screws that are self tapping. Screw the self taping screw into the box (but not all the way just yet!) Take the copper wire and make a hook on each end. Connect the wire to the ground screw on the outlet and the self taping screw in the box and now it's grounded!
