Are we even allowed the 4 per household ontop of a script.I thought i read somewhere that registered legal growers arent allowed to just add 4 for rec.I just said fk it

Yes and they (nhs) are allowed to receive "rec" gifts so make sure and bring some samples to handout next time you go...

I have my med garden at another address, but I'm going to grow 6 indoor rec here and my neighbour and I are planning for at least 10 outdoor in our shared garden this summer. Nobody is coming to check. The only hassle would be from an asshole neighbour or a police visit for another issue, the same as they did with med gardens. I've never had a visit from anyone. They don't have the resources to check medical so I doubt they will be getting warrants to search every house.

I know my doc has never tried... It must be hard to encourage the use of lp weed as they are aware of the many issues. I showed him some close up pic of nice homegrown trics and he was not even aware of what they were. I guess it's up to people like us to educate them or we are leaving to lp's. Would be good to show more of them what we grow, along with some random shi t weed to compare.

Do you even really need a medical script anymore? Who's coming to check? It's not like you're growing an illegal substance and I'm sure you could argue lack of access to a willing doctor as a reason for not having papers. As long as it's all personal and you give a valid medical need, the judge will likely toss it. If you lose, it's only a fine.

Im legal because of that one neighbour and one relative that everyone seems to have and more normal plant counts... Define personal, which to me is several dozen. I was also expecting some form of grandfathering for medical genetics. Between maintaining known phenos and popping new ones you need a decent # to really get the flow going. Gonna be easier soon once more start growing, as I hope to find a few more to share with.

Essentially what happened was the government refused to write the bill to allow medical patients to have 4 plants plus their medical, so health canada slipped in a bill admenment that states that your medical plants are "In addition to any plants that you are already allowed to grow by federial / provincial regulations"Are we even allowed the 4 per household ontop of a script.I thought i read somewhere that registered legal growers arent allowed to just add 4 for rec.I just said fk it
So the government as a whole said no, but health Canada made it happen, if you can medically grow 15, you can have 19 in total.If this did not exist by health canada you could have easily avoided this law in another manner as the law for the 4 per household states that they may be the ownership of one or all members over the legal age of the household but not exceeding 4 plants for recreational purpose, the 4 recreational can be owned by a party who is not the medical card holder then the other can be grown by the card holder, not exceeding the license ammount. Only would have applied to households with more than one adult and only one being a card holder. But thankfully due to health canada amendments you can grow rec + medical legally. its in the cannabis act for medical users, just go read the whole thing. I am by no means a lawyer, and this arguement can not be used to help you beyond your own thoughts on it after reading the whole act.

It all comes back to "who is checking?" As long as you are not engaged in illegal activities, there is no reason for anyone to do random plant counts. It is no longer an illegal substance so the only law enforcement concern would be diversion to the black market. Keep it under 30g at a time and that's legal too..
I am not going to worry about it anymore.
