Hey so my out door vanilla Cush plant (clone) Is about 5' tall now and I just stoped using fox farm veg nutrients. The last time I watered her I upped the dosage for one last big boost of veg but by doing this I noticed nutrient burn on some of the tops of branches and some of the white hairs that or ( early buds) r starting to turn red or brown. 1.) Could this be from a high ph? 2.) Did I prolong the veg process by using the veg nutrients when clearly the plant wanted to go into flowering? 3.) If yes is this bad and a reason y the hair is brown nd redish? 4.) When buds come do leaves curl nd wilt? All help is greatly appreciated.

no leaves don't curl and wilt unless something bad is wrong. You definitly overdosed them it sounds like, AND fed them veg nutes at the wrong time. I've never made that boo boo so IDK what's gonna happen to your buds now. You better pray if you believe in prayer, and leave your plants alone!!

A picture would really help.

Giving your plant the wrong food (veg) isn't going to hold her back if she is starting to bud, sounds like she was already well into bud? Give her a good water with just...water. Are you ph testing your water? Try just regular water the next time and then start her on her bud nutes, half strength until you see how she does with that. If she isn't getting the nutes she wants for budding, or if they are locked out because of bad PH....she could look a bit sick. The only time I normally see hairs turn color early is when a plant is pollinated.

You don't say where you are at, but typically outdoor plants aren't ready to harvest til October, and don't start flowering until sometime in August...at least in Cali. I wouldn't give flowering mI've had the same thing happen, you are using too many nutes and likely too often. When plants are in full flower they start taking nutrients from the fan leaves, they usually yellow

(1.) Yes it could, i would recommend a light flush and go easy in the future with nutes (2.) No, plants will flower despite the nutrients you give it, unless they're auto flowers all plants will flower when the light is about 12/12 (3.) it's possible you burnt them and it could be bad, like i said i would recommend a nice flush to rid excess nutrients (4.) No, from my experience the leaves will only curl from over-feeding, under or over-watering, or until your getting close to harvest

When a male plant's pollen sac's open and the pistols of a female plant get pollinated (covered with it) it will make a seed and the pistils will turn brown-red, and no my dude, 5 is wayy to low, ideal ph is 6.4-7.0, your problem is that you stuffed them with nutes they didnt want/need, flush those girls and quit it with the nutes for a bit
