what are your temps with the light that close and i thought you only flush before harvest but might be wrong.

i read in the bible that ur supposed to flush the containers once a month with 3 times the capacity of the container to remove nute buildups. and my temps are honestly probly about 70-75 i can put my hand on the glass at any point in the day and its just faintly warm, no chance on burning the plants. the fan on the left is on low blowing directly on the plants/glass/ into the air cool fittin on the reflector.

I only flush when I see nute burn. In my opinion you shouldn't flush, once a month, just if you really need it. The light should be fine as long as you put your hand on top of the plants, if it burns your hand, then it's too close. But it seems like you don't have that problem, plus you'd see heat stess or burning if you are too close. Looking good so far though!

thanks, and i actually flushed because stoned me for the passed 2 weeks thought i had a 1 gallon jug and it was a half a gallon jug, therefor was actually mixing enough nutes for 1 gallon in a half a gallon. ill attach a few pics. thought i had some nute burn

well i checked them today, doesnt seem like they need water yet so im just gunna let them go. i took some of the sick looking leaves off the plants. now im just relaxing toking on a blunt, comments are always appreciated

looks like they're coming along really nicely, looks like you did your research before starting your first grow too. Yeah i'm suprised the MH isn't too hot from them at that distance but as long as its not too hot you're all good man.

im going to order or go to the store soon and grab a thermometer so i can get a accurate reading. ill put it this way i can put my hand on the glass anytime of the day and hold it there as long as i want with no risk or burning my hand. im gunna go in and snap some pics soon.:bigjoint:

Edit #1-pics are now up, if any1 can look at the leaves and tell me why there curling just a tiny bit on one or 2 it would be greatly appreciated. i think its from when i over nuted them, but i could be wrong. its only on one or 2 plants and i know that its not a heat problem:leaf: oh yeah and one of the pics of just a close up of the bushyness of one of my plants :-)

Don't give up mang, this is the place to be for help! I'm scribed, I'll be checking up on ya. On my first grow two! Three days into bloom. Nute burn for sure. I would suggest simplifying your nutes. I used FFOF soil and only had to use 6.5ph water for two weeks. I started out with healty clones with healthy roots that were in rockwool cubes. Transplanted them into FFOF five gallon pots. My nutes after two weeks were Botanicare grow nutes. Next time around I'll use superthrive foliar feed for veg. But I never had yellowing of leaves, just curling when I under watered. But a good tip would be to ease into the nutes. I did 1/4 1/2 then full strength. in that order. Because of the size of my pots I only had to water every5-7 days. They're way more thirsty now tho.

Maybe your watering is off. the best advice i got was pick the pot up, know the weight when it is dry. When I notice they need water I wait a day! You want those roots thirsty, but when you feed them you don't want the food too strong! ease into it and have patience, hope this helps, +rep me if your feeling it!

:leaf::bigjoint: finally someone to help me. i flushed them with water a few days ago because i thought i had a 1 gallon jug and it was only a half gallon ( too much :leaf: messed my calculations up lol ) but anyways now i have it figured out i do believe. i split one half gallon of water between 9 plants almost daily :-) +rep for sure

That's awesome man! glad you stuck with us! Let's get out of this nute situation and get to a place where we feel comfortable. Man it was stressful for me too, just starting to feel like I gotta hold on things.

when you start to use nutes again I'd use 1/4 of whatever veg nutes you have. You'll be able to tell if it's too much by the next watering. good luck man and thanks for the rep. I'm keeping an eye on this one! Check out my grow if you need to compare, or you you have any insight! Always room to grow!

Bluntage, is next to godliness. Found out a useful tip today, light leak is only your enemy in bloom/flowering. in veg some people use 24hrs of light, invariations of light cannot hurt your plants in veg, (ex- hermaphoditing out on you be cause of light leak) so you can spend time with you plants on lights out during veg! do i do it, only if i have to make an emergency repair or something. And definitely if you have a lighting schedule of 18/6 stick to it! just something to ponder.
