Howdy.
I'm starting this a little late but I'll try to keep it current. A few months back I got some stash that consisted of two strains. One, was super premie, wet, chemmed out, and the other was slightly premie, moist, and chemmed out. Had there been any other options beside not smoking, I would have refused it. I haggled the price down and left unamused.
Once home I tried them out. Number one sucked. I gave all but the packed bowl away. Ugh. Number two held potential. I could tell it wasnt grown well, dried well, or cured at all. Unless you count sealing moist in a fridge curing. But I dumped out the lightly burnt crap and reloaded. What is that flavor? Well, besides too much nute and tons of chlorophyl. Oh wait a minute. I'm high. Whats that buzz? Could this be Jack? POP? GD this craps seeded too? Who the fu grew this? Amateur.
After allowing the better stuff to dry, the next day I removed four perfect seeds. And hit a bowl left out from the prior night. To my amazement, the ash even had a thick flavor struggling past the chems. Each bowl was the same, 1 hit high, 2 hits retarded, 3 hits who am I. I consider myself a very experienced smoker. Not many strains do anything past mild change of blood pressure, and few actually rock my world.
I felt at least half the genetics in those seeds had that potential. Wow, after almost fifteen years of not growing I was seriously considering getting off the grid, so to speak. I helped a pal out getting started a few years back, but I was mostly an info source, and a stash deposit . I started research on modern technologies, and decided a small s.c.r.o.g. would give me the best use of my space. Back in my day, I used 4" grid to hold up the lolly pops but this never occured to me back then to try this.
