400w HID/HPS question

i am thinking of getting 400w of both hid and hps lights hid for vegging and hps for flowering it will cost me about 100 bucks does this sound like a good idea i have 6 females atm will this be enough light for them? if you have more question just ask

Sounds like you should read up some more on lighting before you order anything so you understand what you are buying.

HID stands for high intensity disharge lighting, This includes Metal Halide, High pressure sodium and mercury vapor.

So saying you are buying an HPS for flower and an HID to veg with doesn't make much sense. No one can really help you until you have an idea of what you want.

i just ordered a reflector for the HID bulb but i still need to know if its a good idea.
