im growing in my shed and the temperature in my room is around 27-30 degrees CELCIUS!! thats with my t12 flourotubes running . hps i sthe best light to usee so i bought one, but when i put it in, i came back later that day and my temp was 45 DEGREES!!!!!

im planing on veging with the floro tubes, and i would love to put the hps in but i have no clue on how to lower the temperature.

Apparently you managed to avoid your homework on HID lights. HPS lamps and MH alike throw off tons of heat. You're going to have to get some serious ventilation going. How large is your grow area?

You should also check out plain Air Cooled hoods. In my box with a 400 watt and an Air Cooled Hood, the lights-on temp is only 3-6 degrees F higher than ambient temperature.

I use a Bat Wing type in the Winter so I can warm it up. :joint::peace:
