So I'm aprroaching my first grow with much excitement, and I'm wondering what light I will able to get away with in the setup I'm going for. I'm only going to grow 1 plant (maybe royal queen sour diesel) as I have an nft tray and can only fit 1. I'm also gonna have a go at scrog
The setup will be this:
100x100x200cm tent
NFT hydro
5" coolshade
4" can fan - maybe just for the coolshade
5" Rhino hobby carbon filter
5" can fan RK125L outtake
A couple of 5" circ fans
Passive intake
600w bulb with variable ballast
A lot of this equipment came from a friend's old cupboard grow, and I remember him having massive problems with heat and running out of vertical space. Obviously I'd love to max out the amount of light my plant will get, however if heat and humidity are too high I've heard that the quality and quantity will suffer...
Im basically after a more experienced opinion on what I can get away with, and whether it would be more sensible to run 400w this time
might I be better off using the smaller fan for outtake and the bigger one to cool the shade down?..
Thanks!
