45 400w digital lights or 35 600w digital lights.

the space these lights will be in will be 11.5 meter long and 5 meter wide room, would the 400w been spaced 1m a apart work just as well as 35 600w, will that much light from the 400w be basically similar to the output to 35 600w lights,

The trays are 1x1 meter each tray as 1 light, the trays going down in the row will be tocuhing, each tray will have 4x78 litre fabric root pouch with soil. i will also be pinning the plants down for 4 week before flower. after the first 2 weeks of top feeding they will be getting watered from the bottom in the trays. when i turn them for flower the light will only be from my elbow/hand length away from the top of the plant. i can add more trays by using the 400w method but will my yield decrease too much from this way or should i use the 600w? will all the 400w lights togetther make up for the 600w missing?? i can add a extra 10 trays so a extra 40 plants by going using 400w.setup.jpg

what if i did half on 400w and half on 600w and swapped them over daily switched between them would that help? its only a switch been digital wouldnt be hard

My choice would be the 400 watt lights. You have a much more uniform light coverage with more lights, less dark spots. Looks like a sweet setup

do you think the amount of 400w i am using and the space between them they will be equivlent to lets say someone who would just have 1 plant over 1 600w light, if i tested with a lumens tester would it read equivalent to 1 600w light as im using so many??

Looking at your layout, I believe you have it covered with 400 watt lights, 600 is better, but the quantity of lights your talking is Sweet. Each plant is getting sufficient "lumens".

normally with the 600 with just 1 over 4 can get about 8oz per plant so 32 per sq meter, i hope 24oz per sq meter with the 400w as its totally different scale
