4ft Flourescents, Good for Veggin?

I plan on veggin some clones from a club soon. I will be veggin those until I get my flowering room set up. After watching that Mr Green show on You Tube, I thought that having a flowering room and a veggin' room seemed like a good idea. I already have two 4 ft flourescent fixtures that are used in my garage which can be used for the veggin stage as per Mr Green's advice. Except I will not have hydroponics. Only soil.

What type of bulbs should I get?

I will be acquiring a 400HPS watt light later for the flowering room.

naww dude no good, go with energy saving CFL bulbs i prefer the 27w bulbs get 1 per three plants and about 3 1/2 inches above them theyll grow bomb.

if u already have them then use them.

By the way milkdawg, most labs and botantists use fluorescent tubes for vegging clones because of the low heat and large area they cover, so they will be perfect.

Just dont plan on vegging them too tall under the fluoros because they wont get incredibly bushy, and most any 4 ft tubes will work.

Thanks, I am thinking that I want these plants small. Also, I am only growing maybe 4 plants so I am not going to go big on my whole crop anyway.

To answer your question ...Get the cool white bulbs with a k-rating of 6500. The are best for vegging.
