4k watt medical

I will start like everyone saying this is a 100% legal medical grow sb 420 prop 215.


This is a 4000watt grow, my 4th run, but my first thread. My room is sealed with co2, currently don't have an AC but I'm hoping to change that within a week or so. luckily its been cold enough outside so i been able to cool the lights with an 8inch fan and stay high 70s low 80s. I'm having trouble keeping it cool when the lights are off (high 70s) so i dont know how thats going to effect me this first week. I'm currently 3 days into flower, the strains are; Maui, Bubblegum, nothern light/bb, silver, and champagne. For nutes I'm using Advanced nutrients connoisseur, big bud, bud ignitor, b52, voodoo juice, overdrive, yellow bottle final, orca, roots accelerator and a couple other odds and ends. I'm trying a 5x5 foot pattern, so 10x10 in a 12x14 box. I have a couple dehumidifiers, hoping to eliminate at least one when i get a mini split. I have a co2 tank with a ghetto ppm4 controller, so my ppms are somewhere between 900-1450. Ladies were anywhere from 18-22 inches when i flipped. Looks good to me. Looking forward to seeing more pictures. If you are using a cell phone camera, make sure the gps is off...that way it can't be traced back to you. But from the prop 215 I'm going to assume you are in Az. So am I...legal and all as well. Check out my grow when you get a chance,

Im in California, im up in the mountains so i run at night so i can take advantage of the cold to cool my lights. Its starting to get warmer during the day so its not staying as cool with the dehumidifiers pumpin. I've considered leaving my inline fan on 24 hours a day to see if that would keeep it cooler, but theres bacon on the block so i try to keep it as low key as possible. fingers crossed for a mini split this week, then ill just get to stress about having someone come charge it up lol. I got a small mite problem right now, been spraying with avid and floramite hoping to get it completely handled soon.

I was wondering if anyone knew about green lights? i have a headlamp but its a pain in the ass not being able to see anything but where the headlamp shines when your trying to do a thorough spray. A buddy of mine threw a green florescent 13w in his room and got a hermi that batch. he swears it was because of that green bulb lol. So i was just wondering if thats bullshit? As of right now im waking up waaay to early in the morning to catch the last 20 mins of lights on to spray lol

hey patrick, what i learned from a few others on here was to spray 1hr to 30 before lights off.. ive sprayed during sleep hours and i've gotten powder mildew from it. at the local hydro store the guy told me to spray right when lights turn on.. from my experience i've sprayed 1 hr before lights out with no problems. i have a friend that sprays with floramite and mighty wash any time during lights on and has had no problems.

i heard that if you spray when lights come on that you will get a burn? i tried mighty wash last run and it was a big waste of bucks for me :\ . it seems really expensive considering if i soak the shit out of them that a gallon only goes about 2 sprays maybe 3 and its like 40 bucks. That scares me about the powder mold, and my humidity has been high too, luckily i have never gotten it yet. *crossfingers* I have an ozone generaator going because i dont have a can filter, i heard that helps with powder mold but im not too sure. I usually spray 40mins or so before they kick off but that requires me to wake up at 6 in the morning and im not a huge fan of that. I feel like i go in there and half ass it just so i can get it done and go back to bed haha. I think im going to switch it up and use some azamax, maybe that will be the end of the war. i have been doing floramite 5 drops per liter, and Avid 3 drops per liter, i thought this would be a high enough dose to whipe them out.. I come out of the room wooozy and light headed and the fucking bugs eat that stuff like a champion

If I were you I would drop the voodoo juice and just stick to the roots excel. I'll fallow along buddy.

...I use a green light myself, I ocassionally have a hermie here and there....but I don't stress on it. I've heard it said that the green bulb needs to be horticulture grade, but just as your friend I use the green cfl.
...I had mites once, I used the azamax everyday for 1 week then got some ladybugs....haven't seen any since. I would extend the dark period by shutting my lights off to mist the plants, once they are dry the lights come back on....good luck bro.

can it happen....to make a long story short....YES

will it happen...to make another long story short, PROBALLY NOT...especially with Cannabis as they dont have the right leaf to create the ideal enviorment for a water droplet to cause magnification of the light and burn your plant.

oh and as far as mites go i heard that habenaro pepper boiled down in water to make a spray works really good on mites, its organic and it is supposedly good for the plants, maybe not so good for your eyes and softer tissue membranes (so dont touch your dick after playing in it)

roachclip your the 2nd person to hate on voodoo juice to me. The guy at the hydro store was all ' why the fuck would you buy that"? i used it last run along with 'rapidstart' which i think is just a ghetto roots excell. My roots were insane when i was done.. I know that alot of advanced is snake oil.. and voodoo is a 100 dollar liter, so if you can convince me there is better for cheaper i am down to switch haha.

RetiredMat thanks alot for that information! definitely will be spraying while lights are on as long as my ladies are happy. i may just cut a couple of the lights out and then smack the hos with bamboo to get the excess run off, then kick back on.

trich thanks for letting me know about the horticulture grade light, i was about to throw green cfls all over the room lol.

Update. day 10. Finally got a 2 ton mini split hooked up. Current temp is 75f, they are lovin it after the week of 80+ .. Feeding at about 950 ppms, they look like they can take a little more. They are drinking every 2 days a little more than half a gallon. I had to give a few small northern lights away it got too stuffed in there. Still running a 70 pint dehumidifier all the time its keeping it around 50-55 percent. let me know what you think and enjoy pics

I sprayed dutch masters reverse last night. Just a precaution because the AC guy had no problem turning on the lights when they were off. almost gave me a heart attack haha.

i open my tent all the time during light off , nothing seems to happen. better safe than sorry though

I have heard of people doing that and not having a problem.. my buddy said that he ends up waking his up at least once or twice a cycle. I got a herm my second run, nightmares ever since. I spray that dutch master shit almost every run now just as a preventative. Im really on edge about light leaks, i put duct tape over everything haha.

duct tape is the best tool a grower can have!!
