4x 100% Indica Master Kush Clones + 1x Purp Strain Bagseed - 1st Informed Grow

Alright, was debating posting one of these, but I'm finally caving and doing it anyway.

As the title says, i'm growing;
4x Master Kush (Clones) [100% Indica]
1x Purp Strain (Bagseed) [Unknown]


I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Forest, and they're currently vegging out under 13x 26W CFL's
4x 5000K 1660L, 9x 6500K 1600L (So it rounds out to just under 25000 Lumens in a 4 sq ft area. (The lights themselves are an inch (in some cases less) from the lights, it's even caused a little singeing of the leaves )

I give my plants practical letter and number designations, I also give them proper names, but that's not how I record them. (For example, they're C1-C4, and S1, meaning clones 1-4 and seed 1, and if I were to clone C4, THAT plant, would be C4-1) That way I can track all my plants, their progress and lineage.

As of 3/11/11
C1 - Day 1 - The day they were planted!




C2 - Day 1 - Topped

C4 - Day 1 - Topped (Note: C4 is the problem child, she wasn't very healthy when I planted her, and the guy I got the clones from was a dick ((for reasons other then giving me a poor clone ), so we stopped speaking shortly thereafter.)



And as of 3/13/11 (I planted the seed the day after soiling the clones and she sprouted a day or 2 later)

Now, lets go ahead and jump ahead a little....since 22 days have passed since day 1.

It's currently Day: 22 As of 4/1/11.

I took a bunch of pictures this morning, i'll upload and post them this evening.

For the RECORD, I will be flowering them under a 400W HPS, and most likely keep the CFL's as a vegging nursery for mommy (C4 most likely, but only cause she's so far behind) and her baby clones, so please, no bitching about the CFL's, they're just for veg.

I'm open to any comments, suggestions and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. No bashing or arguing over grow methods and advice given, please!!

Well...to hell with it, I suppose I can update now. Lets start with C1.

Ok, I have an actual comp book where I record all pertinent data pertaining to each plant and the grow as a whole. If i'm posting pictures of a day that has data recorded, I will post it along with the pictures, as I record all data available to me, in the hopes of referencing it as needed.

Each clone was grown (cloned) in a sponge, which I planted in the soil very lightly, as dug a deeper then usual hole, held it in place, and filled in the hole around it, to allow for maximum aeration. Also, per the recommendation of the guy I got the clones from, i'm really enjoying my Perlite mix, I used about a 60/40 mix of Soil/Perlite.

As of 3/12/2011, the bagseed wasn't planted yet, so I won't include it in this post, it'll be in the next post.

They're each under 3 (or 4 in some cases, as they can share 1 when it's in between them) bulbs each, ranging from directly above them, to beside them on either side. Essentially, it may look ridiculous, but it's still my temp setup, until the grow room is finished getting setup.

haha, yeah, it'll be up to date tonight, but they're still in veg, so we have a little ways to go.

I just got some cloning gel (powder) and a lil greenhouse. planning on making clones in the next week or 2 at the most.

Now i'm certainly hoping for the best, since i've never fimmed or topped before.
C2 & C4 were topped when I purchased them as per my request. But C4 never really took very well to it!

Woke up and found my partner had tried to open the window to let in some cool air, and ended up knocking a couple lights into a plant and not noticing, C3 ALMOST just got burned, lucky for me, I awoke at the sound of the plant PSYCHIC CRIES!!!
No, but seriously, I did wake up JUST IN TIME, to pull it off before it even singed her....
All SHOULD be well, I just hope it didn't have any adverse effects on her, i'm gonna go give her a thorough physical.

Day 24 Update

Found a couple of small bugs, but hunted and killed them all (That I found anyway). I'm in there every 15 minutes looking for em, and haven't found a single one since.
Really hoping for the best here...

i like the updates, going to try to make mine a little more informative like yours are, subb'd bro.

And thanks, I actually have it laid out a little better in my comp book, with a little more data, like leaf counts, height, width, ect...but I decided to leave it out for the sake of not being overly informative with info that people most likely won't be reading.
But I figured the best way to learn is experience, as opposed to just the net, since it's filled with incorrect info. So I do my best to record all the data possible, so my experience is written down, and not dependent on my memory....

...Not to mention, i'd NEVER remember how long since I started it, or when the last day I watered it was...

UPDATE
The FIM worked fine, and I'm already seeing the beginning of new growth in the 4 corners of the fimmed leaves. I'll post a pic of it this evening.

lol, yeah, I couldn't believe it, and I check in on them every 30-40 min, and even when i'm asleep, I wake up every few hours to pee (I drink something like 120oz of water a day...never really figured out why....) and check in on them. Kinda compulsive about these things...But on THIS occasion, i'd been asleep for a few hrs, and didn't wake up to urinate or anything, just awoke, threw on pants and walked in the grow room, and found a sitting snugly in C2! But I don't mistake luck with skill...I got lucky last night...

But at least it makes for a lot of updates!
