Hello I'm new to indoor growing and after some research I've decided to give quantum boards a try. I was planning on using a 4x4 grow tent and was wondering your guys thoughts about lights. I was recommended this light in the link and was wondering if that's a good enough light for a 4x4 setup.

I would go for 2x 260w kits over a single quad board set up with a 480w driver.
You should get around 285w per 260w kit , a bit more light and a better spread than the quad board set up

Yes those guys would have them listed as 240w kit because they come with a 240w driver even though they pull more than 240w
Okay is there a way to daisy chain the boards together? That way I can just have one timer? How does 2 of these look?

If you wanted to you could wire the drivers to one plug or just as easy to use a two way extension cord and plug that into the timer.

maybe the XL heat syncs will allow more spread. They are a nice size for a 5x5 but maybe too wide in a 4x4

all down to you as the grower, but the led qb will outperform the hps watt for watt if you know what your doing.
