4X4X6.5 grow tent, 400W hps, how many clones??

ok, so my buddy is selling me his 4X4X6 grow tent and hes telling me to do like 6 or 8 clones. . the problem is i only have a 400hps, i was thinking four clones before he started saying 6 or 8. .now i have the idea in my head that i should try to grow more. . does anyone have any suggestions on how many clones to grow? more (6 or clones and flower sooner. . or 4 clones and veg them for about a month. .

i'd go with 6-8 as well...

alright, thanks for your opinion. . i think i might go with 6. . if i go with 8 ill probably have buy more nutes. . im going to grow grape ape, ko kush and maybe sour diesel.

i just saw the grow journal, your set up is very nice. i dont have a nice air coolable reflectors so i cant get too close to the plants. . that was also another concern of mine.

dude get 2 400's and pack as many of those babies in there as you can{i like to use growbags, they are cheap and you can fit them in there very tight} lollipop them and you can get 4oz per square foot

i cant do that this grow, im on a budget. If i buy a new light it will be a 600w hps and ditch the 400... i live in a one bed apt. so even that might be a little too much wattage.
