4x4x7 Indoor Tent Lens

Hello I am looking for advise on which type of lens I should go with. I am going with a hortilux bulb a Digital lumatek ballast and was thinking a 6" air cooled lens not a tube style as I read it affects spectrum ETC. Just a flat bottom square on like a magnum XXL

Do you guys think an air cooled lens is a must in a tent? The guy at the store says no. It is a pretty big price jump to go air cooled lens.

also how good is an PowerSun ballast ? Does it compare to a lumatek ?
:joint: I got 11 Girls waiting on a response Thanks

You're talking about a lens that attaches to the bottom of the reflector to make it a sealed chamber to run your ventilation through, right? I think so. I haven't ever used one, but I've heard good things about them. As long as the lens doesn't interfere with the light spectrum or intensity in any weird way.

If you have proper ventilation with enough cool air intake, you don't usually need an air-cooled reflector. But it is nonetheless helpful to have one.
