I think those are for much larger plants that need humidity. It would not work as well as a simple tupperware container, or proper clone tray with dome. A clone tray should cost less than that also... Just my 2 cents.

Is it an aerocloner? If so, you do not need a humidity dome. You only need a dome for cloning in rockwool or the like.

Thats what i was thinking. dont know if it would speed rooting up a day or two.

I think a dome on an aerocloner would hinder rooting time because they would have too much RH. Just my opinion, I use aerocloners and do not use a dome. But those domes are pretty cool.

MAybe could drill a hole in the top to control the humidity in there... Or three holes and you could plug 1 or 2 to dial in the RH...

Yeah I know, but from experience, cloning using an aerocloner works much better with out a dome. I believe on ez cloner website they mention that adding a humidity dome will increase the rates of PM, pests and other problems. It's just another thing to market because they can make more money IMO.

Yes you could, but the question is will it speed up rooting or not.

The dome vs no dome debate is a never ending one. Some people swear by them, some people don't. They are selling the dome because some people may need it (for whatever reason). And of course to make money. I think any dome in cloning should def have a way to vent though.

I have used them for my Hydroponics setup to increase humidity until the plants get to big to fit. Then I just run a humdifier. Only downside is yhat they don't fit over the bucket if you have a net pots with a wide rim. I have to tape them down or the pressure gradient knocks them off. See photoJust wanted to know if any body has used these bucket domes on their cloning bucket.
