How long can you grow in 5 gallon fabric pots
Hi. New poster here.
I been growing a long time.
Currently managing a 24 light grow in two rooms, turning one room every 30 days ... plus running a clone room to supply myself and other locations producing over 500 babies a month.
We use our smart pots ONE TIME, then toss em. Just not worth the time and energy to reuse ... cheaper to replace.
BUT, I remember the day when I used to reuse them. I had a big plastic garbage can that I'd fill half full of water then put about 20 bags in. Soak it in CLR. (Calcium, Lime, Rust remover). It can be found in any hardware store. Put a gallon of it in your garbage can and soak it over night.
Then dump it and take it to a laundromat that has one of those big heavy-duty commercial washers ... you know, the ones that cost a buck or two do do a load.
They can be used indefinitely like that. Even your lawn doesn't care when you dump CLR on it. Plants just don't care.
