5 or 9

So I’ve got a 4x4ft with a mars ts3000 led, from seed will I yield more with 5plants or 9. I don’t want to veg for ages but also don’t want to end up with an oz per plant or Small buds

I do many plant method I currently have 8 because I need some space for equipment no topping at all I just let them grow naturally 2 weeks seedlings 2-3 weeks veg then flip mine are now 27 days into flower and I obviously don't know yet but I would say I will get roughly 2 ounces of each plant hopefully I will let you know how it goes I was the same got sick of vegging for so long it has certainly been quicker and less hassle and my tent looks neater lol

This is two plants in a 2x4. There was zero light getting through. Autos that vegged for a month. These were around 6 weeks old, and stretched another 6". 3 gal pots, Coco. Pulled 13 Oz under a 100w and 220w quantum board combined.

This was one plant in a 3.3x2, went into flower in week three, pulled 6 ounces.


Id go four myself and run a nice ScrOG. I filled the 2x4 far quicker than I expected with two autos, and everyone was saying "run four". Photos with more veg could be a handful.

If you look closely at the top pic, you can see the biggest ScrOG fail ever. Set the net 50cm above the pots.....that net ended up nothing but a "defol from here down" marker. The crazy thing is that at 50cm above the pots, one of those autos could have filled the whole 2x4 if I knew what i was doing. Ended up stretching nearly three feet above the net.

I'd also go 4 and scrog them, I veg for 4 weeks and flip...
