5 strains, thoughts appreciated..

Ok so in a month or so I will be starting these strains:

Dinafem Amnesia
Dinafem Blue Cheese
World of seeds Afghan Kush Ryder
Buddah White Dwarf
Dutch Passion Automazar

Intend on using FFOC, FF grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom (@ week 7) & bud candy.

Plan on 20/4 with 420w of half warm light and half daylight cfls (Y split of each bulb per plant). Also thought of switching to 600w hps when flowering appears.

Any thoughts on this idea? Is it beneficial to switch to hps after using cfls half way through their life?

If you've tried any of these strains please give info and thoughts/tips on them. And also what kind of yeild should I expect if I did no lst or topping. This will be my first AF attempt . Thanks!

The auto mazaar is meant to be a great yielder and I have grown afghan kush ryder and its a very good grower.

Niiice, What type of yield you thinkin with 600hps? What did you get off your AKR?

Afghan kush Ryder and auto mazar should be two awesome indicas with a massive yield

as a new grower u can figure half the ad yeild ..........if they say 300 u should get 150 if u do it right more once the skills improve ............untill u grow the strain in your area u can not call what it will end up being so take it from me do not start betting on huge yeilds to cover bills grow the plant once figure out what u can do and then try to do better ............the buds will not be as dence and packed as master growers all good u did it they will get better ....plus if u pick high enough thc worst case hash butter /hash........or my personal fav shine with thc

keep notes somewhere so u can look at what u did and tweak it ........rem once u pick a strain stick to it each strain is different and likes little different things that highly impact the yeilds

if u want big yeild check out biodiesel mass and auto pounder ........saftly figure a QP off each with a 600 watt light u said

note i am finding it is easier to get the plant into flower and then sell it off for 200 bucks 125 dollar profit and u can start the next plant in the exp line ...........u are making the world a stinkier place but in a good way

Well thanks for the tips and advice, I don't have my expectations too high on this time around but can't wait to try my best! As far as my plan, does everything sound kosher?? - as far as the nutrients and switching to the hps light.

Definitely wanted to try the mazar and afghan kush ryder tho, been looking for the higher yeilders as far as the autos go.

^^^^ didn't even see the bottom of your comment, those 2 were others I was looking at. But it will be gettin too cold to do them after eachother, might be Indoors but still cold in the barn and too expensive to heat!

your set up i go with the cfls untill u see the lower leaves getting yellowing from to low light then hit your hps at 50% and step it up to 100% as it hits flower

your nurtrients .......depends on the line if u have something like bio root and black diamond u can start adding that in at the 2nd week it is good for them and not strong like 0.2 0,5 0.4 or something bottle is not infront of me and the black diamond is just carbon for later ..........i do not trust fox farms nutrs i heard about salt build up i went the go box organic

if i can say start the plant in the fainl container using the jiffy plug .......seed in plug plug in planter and let it go from there .......i personally like air bag/soil bags over hard planters do to the fact flushing is easy they get air to roots and prune that way so no chocking .......and they are cheap so u can cut them poke holes and all that good stuff

Would you recomend topping or lst? Maybe just tieing lowers down ? Or just grow straight up

some people will say when you do it right you can top auto but i saw a lot of people telling otherwise
stress is NOT good for auto flower cant drasticly lower the yield

I pulled 1oz and change with a 150w hps on my AKR

Anybody have pics of any of these strains flowering/harvested?

I like the 2 Dinafem strains you mentioned. I'm pretty sure the Blue Cheese of theirs is fairly new. I could be wrong though. Anyways happy growing!

don't mix warm and cool cfls. get all 6500k for veg. get all warm whites for flower, if you must flower with cfl. 400w of hps would shit all over your 420w of cfl.
