50 vs 100 vs 200 gal smart pot

I want to grow the largest plants I can indoors and was wondering what size to get with a 4 month veg. Are 200 gallon pots worth it? Plants seem to grow fast outdoors where they have no limit to root space, I'm not sure how much it affect indoor plants. I want to pull 3+ lb a plant from the smart pot.

200 gallon?! Where would you even find those?? I think theres probably a "ceiling" at some point where more space wont equate to higher yield but I have no idea how big would be "too much" to utilize

Same here lol. I don't want to be using 200 gallon pots when I could've got the same results with a 50. I'm leaning towards 50 gallon pots because its only a 4 month veg but I can't stop thinking that if I buy a larger pot that my plants will be bigger after 4 months. The "bigger is better" rule with soil is embedded in my head.

You can buy 200 gallon smart pots at smartpot.com. They even have 1000 gallon pots.

You using lights or is this a greenhouse?

I'm using lights to grow big trees that will be about 7 feet tall.
