6/18 veg with interrupted dark period? eg "The Gas Lantern Routine"

so i've got a perpetual grow cycle going and my veg area is growing far too quick for the space.
so going off the The Gas Lantern Routine wondering if anyone can see any problem with a 4hr on, 6hr off, 1hr on, 6hr off, 1hr on, 6hr off light schedule?

flood and drain, perlite, 100w led dimmed to 15%

so the light schedule should be fine other than insufficient par/DLI, you thinking stretch?

its a very small grow area where i start seeds/ clone/ light veg, as the grow height is not more than 2 foot( or less) which may include the led so at times canopy is a foot to 1/2 -1 inch from the led which at 15% is about 15 watt i figure
