6 ft. mendo purps not flowering properly

Alright so I started flowering my mendo purps at about 3 feet, and didn't think it would get much taller but that wasn't the case.....it has pretty much tripled in size since i changed the light cycle and has only produced a bunch of pistils. Its been flowering for 6 weeks now, but there are still absolutely no signs of buds, thc, or smell. All my other children are nearing harvest and coming along great, and I was thinking it might be a hermie but there are no male parts. One theory I came across is that it wasn't ready to be flowered so it continued to veg during 12/12 and is just taking forever?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with my mendo purps. I finished 4 mendo purps indoors before the start of outdoor season and they were bomb, only took 12weeks of 12/12 to fully finish, being more of a pure sativa I expected that but it only took 12 weeks indoors to start to prebud.
Now I have 4 purps outdoors from the same mother. I put them outside at the end of june for some vegetation at 3ft tall, they are now 6ft tall and it's been 7weeks since the time change to 12/12. over the last few weeks they have decreased inter-node spacing in preparing for budding, I have added extra Potassium (kool bloom liquid since 4 weeks when there was no sign of prebudding, and then since 5 weeks started kool bloom ripening powder with extra P to give them a kick off, and at the 1st week of 12/12 I watered with bud blood for increase in bud sites) The rest of my garden is white widow and almost ready for harvest.
Although today on the purps I have noticed that the hairs are starting to form and the budlets are starting to form like other varieties at 10-14 days. I've been growing for years and this is the first time to take forever to start budding. Does anyone know of anything to help the budding process speed up, or is the extra P sufficient, at this rate it will snow before the buds finish! Thanks
