at 6 weeks my buds are rapidly becoming burnt orange, brown but trichs are clear. Do they go amber rapidly ???? They look bigger than yesterday but no stickiness to buds/cola or other sign of resin. will 2 weeks make the difference or am i growin' schwag. The bag it came from was good commercial. Waiting to post pic when i feed her and can get a good shot. Also have a baby in a diy dwc. so far so good. ph around 6. Should i treat the plant and not the nute solution when adjusting ??? Clones at 1 week HUGE fans. Leave em or trim lightly ???

That plant definitely looks as if it needs a little more time.. some strains pack on the trich's late into flowering.. dont get discouraged, it'll come along.. just sit back, have a toke and let it mature my friend..

i always harvest at clear/cloudy trichs but they do take awhile to turn to amber, its not just overnight..

this is my first time.....she has come along beautifully thus far. Also read that a "true" sativa can take 8-16 wks to fully flower depending on strain. Gonna do exactly what you said and let mother nature do her thing. When I dosee the trichs getting cloudy should i stop feeding the last week? Have you ever cured individual buds? Read somewhere that harvesting at different stages=different results as far as type and strength of buzz. I grow and smoke for anxiety an have 3 strain of indica on the way. Any info you have is appreciated a far as ANYTHING you think might help me....thanks, mark

you might have, those fan leaves help in developement of flowering, they store energy to use when flowering..you should leave them alone..& this is my first grow also....good luck Bro...

Here she is 8 weeks plus..give or take a few . Maybe they can use it as a "before" pic or a "not this way" lol.....hey it was fun and gettin more interesting every day. Got some quality seed from across the pond recently and look to start the new year with some good genetics in the ground. Gonna be an interesting 08. Check the pics when i post. You'll see plainly where had i just LEFT IT ALONE !!!!!! Granted a few were from my initial "light hut" falling on her, but some of the "bare spots" are due to just not thinking. Oh well lesson learned.
Went ahead and took a few shots. As you see coulda been a lot better. Thanks to everyone for their help so far. Triched up nicely and got a milky white color to them in the last week or so. About 25% amber so i'm gonna wait maybe 1 more day?????

A old trick is to harvest when the plant is a day or two past it's normal feeding time, so the soil is as dry as possible, and the plant pushes growth for the last time. It also helps with humidity control for mold control...Look into it...

for the advice. That's the 2nd time i've heard 2 let the soil dry a it before harvest. Flushed with h20 and molasses 2 days ago so its getting nutes via the blackstrap just wanted to clear any of the bad stuff. Problem is a week and a half go i was worried, but now i've got trichs everywhere most milky few clear, few amber. Think i'm gonna let her "dry out" as suggested because i think she's in the middle of her last blast of trichs. It'll give her a few days to do her thing if nothing else. God knows you got to let the ladies do their thing. Any way i will post some pics prior to cutting. You guys are great ......thanks.
