600 HPS 2x4 Perpetual grow +mini scrog

Ive had this set up going for around 2 months. It is a 600 HPS Cool tube with a digital ballast that supports a super lumen setting as well as 300-400-600. I think i have worked out most of my kinks with this new set up. My temps were an issue but now are at a perfect 75 but never raised about 85 when they did. I also have a 400 cfm in line fan on the cool tube as well as a intake fan going into the tent separately feeding fresh air in to replace the other 200 cfm fan i have pulling through a carbon filter. I just harvested my first plant (Barneys Farm Flower Power auto) from this grow just a last Sunday and now the first half of it is curing. The second half i waited to harvest until yesterday to allow more light to lower buds. The next plant on deck is what has replaced the first plant as being my favorite. Its a Jet 47 automatic plant and has stayed short and squat but has filled out better then anything ive ever had before for it height. After the new year i might get a few of those seeds and do a all out Jet 47 grow training them down the way i did for this one. After that there is two massively bushy Fast bud autos. There so big im afraid they wont fill out right so i may strategically prune leaves that cover the middle of the canopy. One Fast Bud is looking like its 1-2 weeks behind the Jet 47 and the other Fast Bud looks to be a little behind that maybe 1-2 weeks. After those there is a Confidential Cheese that i am setting up for a scrog. I may need to move it to my smaller tent with a 150 w hps to keep it 12/12 or i need to come up with a way to cover up the plant completely which i have a few ideas about. 2 more seeds were germed two days ago. Those seeds are Pineapple Express automatics. Im keeping this journal to help keep track of things because my note taking is hit or miss it seems when im doing it in a notebook.

plants look good man, about how much did you get off the Barneys Farm Flower Power auto? buds look good.

The first wet weight I got was 51 and that has gone down to around 14 grams and the 2nd half I just chopped down the other day was about the same wet weight so I should be getting a full ounce off of it. I'm just excited for this jet 47 i think it will pull close to the same number as the flower power but without being so damn tall lol.

Its from Flash seeds. The crazy thing about it is it stayed short but the nugs on all the tops stretch down a majority of the stem itself. Definitely will reorder, unless the smoke is bad but im sure it going to be tasty. I actually started 48 hours of darkness today for it as well.

So like i said i threw the Jet 47 into darkness and i was checking out my one Fast bud and its swelled up without me knowing lol. Ive been looking at her and the trichs look milkyish but i feel like the buds are not developed enough... any opinions? at least from what can be gathered from limiting resources. I was thinking 1-2 more weeks ...

It was germed on August 3rd and it is now on day 60 as of today with a suggested seed to finish time of 7 and a half weeks or 56 days.

I also forgot to mention in my first post that this is a organic grow.

It seems like these hanging collapsible dryers get the buds to dry on the outside and gets the stem bendable with a touch of snapping in a few days if you don't leave them all in huge colas only a few medium sized ones seem to dry just as quick. It currently is sitting at 19g and has been put in a jar to start curing.

I had a confidential cheese branch break off accidentally so i re cut the bottom and dipped in cloning gel and put it inside of a flipped over mason jar to keep humidity up and that was about 3 days ago. The cutting seems to be doing alright. One of my Pineapple express seeds could not escape its shell half way through the proccess and died. To replace it I have Germed and planted a Thunder Bloody Mary auto as well as started to germ a Speedy Gonzalez auto seed.

Flower Power had a grand total of 24-26 grams so just short of an ounce but this is the first uneventful grow ive had when it comes to plant problems and such all i can do is keep moving up from here. I love this organic growing.

Back to the Conf Cheese i really want to see how this plant does but doing scrog makes the plant very immovable. I mean i could throw it into the smaller tent with the scrog like i keep saying but i feel like i can maximize space by having a few autos in the room it take for that whole scrog set up. On the other hand though i could remove the screen and just tie down and work the light schedule so that i physically take it out and put it in every 12 hours into the other tent with no light.


Also just about shat myself i found small purple sugar leaves on the biggest fast bud.

Havnt updated for a while. The Jet 47 has turned out to be great smoke and just what i needed for my back definitely the heaviest hitting stuff i have had in a long time.

The Fast Buds are still going strong. The first one is looking like its getting close to the end, i think ill put her in the dark Saturday for 24 hours. The younger one on the other hand is looking like it has a while still but the pistols are colorful then the older one. The trics

I transplanted Pineapple Express and the Bloody Mary into bags.

I chopped the top half of my first fast bud today wet weight ended up being 112 grams and there is plenty more still on the plant i am impressed. Hopefully it will dry down to just around a ounce and then whatever the second half yields pending if if will swell the smaller buds if i give it a few more days to a week.

So apparently i have quarterly inspections this week. (Surprise!) Last year the first inspection after the summer was in the second week of January and had been that way for years before. So i walked into my residence from my morning walk to a big yellow sign "Quarterly inspections this week Tuesday through Friday. So i guess im chopping both my fast buds tonight. On top of that i will need to find a place to hide drying medicine. After those fast buds i have a Conf cheese and two seedlings. Those seedlings are now in 5 gallon containers i wish i would of waited to transplant them from the party cups till this week. I think im going to hide the plants into plastic tubs and put in a safe place during there dark period in the day. Im not looking forward to tearing down and setting up everyday... any ideas?.

So the official Thatguy plan of action is as follows-
1. Tear down tent every morning and set up every night. Down 8 am Up 6 pm.
2. Chop both fast buds instead of giving them another week but they are already past the expected harvest date anyways.
3. Buy plastic tubs from store for A) Still living plants B) to make a makeshift drying rack in them to hide my recently harvested medicine. (While of course keeping an eye on the humidity in those tubs) C) Tubs for the rest of equipment (Anything that could be linked to growing) Luckily i have two fish tanks so i can hide a lot under my 55 gallon that people would just assume is aquarium equipment.
4. Clean entirety or area to minimize ANY evidence.
I have much faith that this will go without a hitch considering the leniency of being in a relativity young area where im sure a good portion of units here smell more then my apartment does. As long as i stay lower on the chain of attention then the rest of the smokers in this complex then i will be more then fine. Already been through a few inspections but that was when i had a 1.5x1x5x4 tent so it made life a bit easier.

The first fast bud harvest is now in a jar along with the second plant thatone dried very fast it was kinda scary. I think the second one wasn't at the peak point for harvest but that's what I had to do. So as of right now

I have a confidential cheese 1-2 weeks into flowering. Pineapple express auto as well as A thunder bloody Mary automatic. One the way are two more autos but waiting on the mail for them.

plants look sweet. that Confidential Cheese is nice and frosty. so do you have the lights on 12/12 or 24hrs?

Ive been using my other small tent for a dark room so that CC can flower. I start the autos lights at 3pm and run them until 8 am. The CC goes in to the regular tent at 8pm and then of course i turn off the lights at 8am anyways. so im running 17/7 sched for the non CC plants. I gotta say the Cheese is smelly lol not in a bad way but not in a normal pot way either.

Im thinking of starting a mother plant soon to take clones from early next year. The decision is between Qrazy Train and Plush Berry. Ive always wanted to get my hands on something with black cherry soda in it.

i got 5 barneys farm pineapple express auto seeds ... looks much larger then i was expecting... what day are you up to so far?

Somewhere around 56 days. I think the way I scrogd it really increased growth because within a week or two the difference was huge.
