THIs is my first journal/thread and probably will be my last. So its been a lil while since ive grown, but i messed around with autos and wasn't to impressed. So this time around I will be attempting a SOG style grow using 3 inch net pots in a 5 gallon tote. 8 clones per tub evenly spaced, 4 tubs in rotation in the 3 X 3 flowering tent. Going to try to harvest every two weeks. They will be lit with an air cooled 600 watt HPS.

Flowering set-up.

Ive been mother hunting between 2 DinaFem Bluewidows, 1 Delicious Fruity Chronic Juice, and 1 GHS TrainWreck. I decided to stick with the TW, and threw the other three into the flowering tent.

Rejects flowering about 2 weeks in.

The cloning method will be an aeroponic bucket under two 25watt CFLs

(failed clones in bucket:roll:)

Tommorow I will take a fresh batch of clones and post my updates as soon as they appear.
10 Day rooting time with 4 day veg then off into flower rotation. I will be shooting for aroung a half O per clone.
I will be germing some autos to keep along vegging.
Feel free to comment, ask questions about my gear, etc......

You say your last- you mean last thread you start? As far as this grow I mean. You have the knack.
Last thread. I'm usually one on the countless trolls reading and taking silent notes. Usually an observer, but it's time to get some other opinions than my own. I've been searching RIU for a dwc sog grow similar to mine for reference but haven't come across one. So I'd thought to start my own.

Update: took 5 clones off the TW today. I gave the aero bucket a good cleaning/decontamination before i put 2 gallons of RO water with 5 ml of thrive alive.

Hoping to have roots within 3-9 days.

Well the Rejects are showing fat calyxes at all node points. Very excited for the Fruity Chronic Juice. Delicious claims a 50-55 day flower time and a heavy yield. And the Blue widows seem to have a distinct heavy aroma coming from the fan leaves.
Forgot to mention that all have been topped. Will post Pics of them. An Auto Sweet Tooth will be joining soon as well!!!:weed:

Visible root formations beginning on all clones.

Train Wreck momma recovers fast from removal of cuttings. Has 15 potential shoots fully formed now. Excellent resistance to stress.

Day 16 of flowering: Pistils on all node points. No further streching of limbs. About to enter full bloom. The Blue Widows seem to be identical pheno, Extremely strechy limbs with short internode length. Very musky odor starting to permeate.
Fruity Chronic Juice has around a half dozen colas with amazing lateral branch growth. No odor.(yet?)

Picture updates on all plants saturday

Keep going! I respect folks that can show things don't always work out as the clones. Some made it so all is good.:blsmoke:

I got a Blue Widow as a free bee awhile back. I've cloned and bloomed it 3 times now. I like it a lot. Sounds similar to yours, in structure, smell, and what not. I never thought I'd find a keeper from a free seed but it's in my top 3 plants I've grown in the last 2 years.

It really takes a long cure time. Be patient and you will be rewarded!

Good luck to you.
Be safe.

Glad to know the BlueWidow is killer. I got mine as freebies as well. I'm loving the formation of the stalks, kinda like Spider legs. I'll keep the cure time in mind. Did yours turn blue or purple? Weathers starting to get colder at night. Hoping for some multi colored nugs.

Update:
Having issues keeping the Cloner reservoir cooled. I'm worried it may affect the rooting or mabey cause an bacterial infection. I've been alternating frozen water bottles in it twice a day. Any ideas or other methods would be greatly appreciated.

Foam may not be strong enough to support a fully budded clone. Mabey 2 inch networks? That way the root kind of bind and attach to the openings in the pot. More support for a heavier yeild possibility........But I'm having terrible results trying to clone so I moved on from the trainwreck and have a few other mama possibilties growing now. My goal is to get this sog rolling but you guys may have to be entertained by my air pot ladys I got in mid flower right now. I'll update tommorow morning with what my general plan is with a lot more new gentics. G13 Pineapple Express, delicious Critical X Jack Herer, Humboldt seed org. Bubba Kush, Blue Dream ,chemdawg,e.tc.......Pics as well. The Bluewidow is a yummy looking slut!

I got the idea from seeing someone flower like that. It eliminates the need for netpots, starter cubes and net pot covers. He just used some foam child floatation device called a noodle or something. When he ran out of room in his cab he simply pushed the plant down deeper into rez and kept it moving. So basically he flowered in a cloner type set up.

If bud weight becomes an issue, i'm sure one could fashion some sort of small trellis.

try letting the cloner be "warm" adn not putting ice in it, i didnt in my aero bucket and just clean between runs, i changed up and made a 30 site tho mine always seemd a little warm afterall people use heatpack under their trays to warm it up also i know i did before i used my aerocloner.

@fundeux i use a "child flotation device" for my cloner as well =]

Thanks man. When I got cuttings I'll let it run warm.
