600 watt HPS/MH heat output

im debating upgrading from 200 watts of CFL to a 600 watt MH fitting and a hydro setup over soil.

however im having concerns over heat, i cant really afford a huge inline fan nor do i have room for it and it would be too loud.

so theoretically could i cool it with 4 120mm computer fans in a fairly cool room ?

i fear the answer is no :)

im growing in an alcove of my room with blackout curtains so its fairly confined but breathable.

advice on cooling on a budget ?

Depends on the size of your room and how hott the temps are now. Get a small air condition that is about 500watts. that would cool a thousand watter no problem. I think you can get a portable one. A cool tube is alot cheaper.. Get a used Incline off craigslist for about 20-150 for an 4 inch to a 8 inch. Make sure you clean it before using.
A fan isnt loud with ran on a rheostat. I run a big one on low.
Play a radio. Just on low so you only hear music if someone hum checks.
Build a tent in the room to set up a small "cooltube" setup. buy the inline fan!
Build a wood frame and get some poly. Black/white. 50$ a roll. Make it about 6'x6'x6' so you have some room.Build it out of cedar 2"x2"s. Make the growing area 4'x4'. Frame a sqaure at the top side of the tent for your computer fans. Make the tent strong.

How big is your grow area? 600mh, never seen one but i can imagine it'd get pretty hot if you're using a tent or closed off area but an alcove shouldnt be too bad
