600hps to Mars hydro tsl 2000w

I’ve been running autos under my 600 hps for years. I finally broke down and bought a mars hydro tsl 2000w that will be here in a couple days.

I run Fox Farm nutes pretty heavy under the 600. No climate control out in the room. Highs out there have been 104 and lows in the upper 50s throughout the years. Yes, I can grow in anything lmao.

I bought a 2’x4’x5’ tent that will be in the house along with the new led light.
Question: Do I need to lighten up on the nutes with the new led running in a more controlled environment?

Oh ya. Been doing it that way for 11 years. I’m a dirt guy. Just have to water ever day during the heat. Here are a few harvested in those extremes recently. Last 1-3 months.

Now I have to re-learn how to grow inside the correct way. Lmao.

Awesome people thought I was crazy it was snowing out and I started my first grow in the attic and I was able to see my breath but that shit grew lol
 
I wish I had something specific to contribute, but I've switched up my format so many times that all I learned was the obvious things like too much is too much... of anything. I've used both COBs (mostly) and HPS (a few times), but only for photos and I changed them up pretty randomly.

I am curious to see how you like the new light, and if it changes the way you grow.

Tent showed up today. It was suppose to show up 3-4 days before the light. Oh well it all worked out.

I’ve had the light on full and have been giving regular nutes. So far so good.

Liking this setup man. I think you are going to really like that led light. It should make it easier to maintain a more stable environment i think.

Just a follow up if anyone was interested. 3 weeks later. Hard LST. I really like the light and tent combo for sure. When these start to smell they get to go outside under the 600.

11 days later minus one plant. Mars Hydro TSL 2000w. It’s performing beyond my expectations. I’ve had it turned all the way up the whole grow and have had the light as close as 11” then decided not to push it.

That’s the one I’m using right now in my 2x4x5 tent. It’s getting a little stinky in there. I would really like to try the TS3000 out in my 6x6x6 room to replace my 600 hps. That is where I will probably finish these up. Time to drop another round of seeds.

I am so jealous of you right now. Keep us posted. Mars hydro has come out with bar style lights...I think they are the fc series... fc 3000, 4800, and 6500. LED's in your 6x6 would probably help with your high Temps and would be way cheaper to run.
